India presents China a two-front problem, says US navy chief

Do you know how much territory India got from China???? Okay they took 38K in 1962 and AS PER YOUR CLAIM 1K additional.... so lets make it 39K or if it gives you extra satisfaction then make 40K....

India in 1975 annexed Sikkim territory of 7K sq km and to top it in 1986 India capture AP territory of 86K sq km by landing paratroopers from Army, declared it a part of India and announcing the elections there....

I am not even talking about Kashmi - Siachen against Pak wish capture and Goa Hyderabad annexations from Portuguese and Nizam.... We have only grown up in size since Independence and NO POWER on this planet can do anything about it....

Can you provide any links to some credible and genuine evidence that proves what you are claiming above? If what you say is true then remember to post the links here.

More precisely, as per your claims, can you provide credible and genuine evidence that india captured 86,000 square kms of Chinese territory!!!!!!!!!!!..........               ................WTF!!!!!

What we need is to offer bases to American military in India just like Saudis do..... Nobody will dare to attack India after that..... We are QUAD partners and we should really explore this possibility....
So essentially you are advocating to be a bitch of US.

.
When a chinese comment like this on the relation between India and China, I doubt about his/her nationality.
Bcz everyone in China and India knows the history between both countries.
India and China dispute far older than China and US rivalry.
Both countries fought real wars when US and China relation were good, was no real threat for US.
So who is using whom as cannon fodder you can easily calculate.
Well Said

When India offer USA a military base in India = allowing USA to occupy the country just like how Japan is currently occupied by USA.

Its a deterrence so you do not do any misadventure....

Yes and at least they are safe from China... Look at both Taiwan and Japan.... China can't do a jack instead of useless military drills......

Lololol. So you do admit you are advocating India to be a bitch. What happened to India Supapowa? I thought you can go 1 on 1with China and have a 1 to 5 kill ratio. Lololol

India in 1975 annexed Sikkim territory of 7K sq km and to top it in 1986 India capture AP territory of 86K sq km by landing paratroopers from Army, declared it a part of India and announcing the elections there.... All by absolutely ignoring Chinese reactions....

I am not even talking about Kashmir - Siachen annexation against Pak wish and Goa Hyderabad annexations from Portuguese and Nizam.... We have only grown up in size since Independence and NO POWER on this planet can do anything about it.... American military presence will further fortify this.....
So, you are claiming that India has been an invader all the time. Thank you!

.
So, you are claiming that India has been an invader all the time. Thank you!

Sikkim merger was after the approval and invitation from Sikkim royal family in 1975.... AP was not invasion it was preemptive capture in 1986 because India already smelled china was going to do Tibet on AP.... AP population too was always on India side....

Invasion is called what you did on India in 1962 my friend...

We lose diplomatically by doing so
There is nothing special USA can offer us in return

Send abinadhan again to Pakistan let's see what the response will be even with the yanks there

How did they screw up? They have gained over 1000 square kms of indian territory since May 2020 on top of the 38,000 square kms of indian territory they annexed in 1962........ :azn: :

PS Do you even know what you are talking about?
1000sq km? 🤣not a single inch territory captured, dispute happened at neutral perception of LAC in no mans zone. Not in main territory where the border outpost of Indian army is deployed.
Disengagement happened from some areas & still going on.
In pangong tso, for example china claims & patrolled up to finger 4 and india to finger 8. current buffer is f4 to f8.And China used to patrol till F-4. They can no longer come there either. In depsang, india is blocked from its patrol points 8km east of y-junction while china blocked from its point 7km west of y-junction. both deny each other access
India's on paper LAC claim is 18km east of y-junction in what is historically Pla controlled territory. Which is why Indian troops only asserted control up to 8km east of y-junction via patrols. If china had a upper hand it would have escalated in ladakh rather than withdrawing from pangong tso and continuing to be denied access to its patrol line near burtse in depsang. also note all remaining friction points r where india is also denying china access to pla patrol points

IMHO:

India & China major clash is never going to happen for obvious reasons..
The only scenario the above case will happen is if, USA, Japan and Russia successfully neutralize and balkanize China like they did 1900
Eight-Nation Alliance

But, hypothetically lets assume USA, Russia and Japan do not exist and assuming China has no security concerns in the East and fully focusses on the West

In this case, below are the concerns that emerge

Throughout history for India, Tibet was first buffer against Chinese expansion

Tibetans have taken the fight to Central China or defended themselves
Tibetan Empire

Next buffer against them was Myanmar
Luchuan–Pingmian campaigns
Sino-Burmese wars

Even nations like Nepal has acted as buffer
Sino-Nepalese War

Sri Lanka was also at the receiving end of Chinese aggression, but China could sustain its presence in Sri Lanka and left
Ming–Kotte War

In the event Chinese manage to erode all these buffers and India chooses strategy of defense. Things will end similar to 1962. Need of hour is offensives into Hanlands

This where QUAD comes into picture, it allows India to compromise the security wealthiest parts of coastal China. Destroy coastal China and rest of China is a shell.

Apart from your say so, do you have any credible evidence to refute the article that says China captured an additional 1000 square kms of indian territory in 2020?

India's media & public often confuse with actual control of the land and Patrolling. Patrol doesn't mean that you control the area. Its only Army camps/installations which means the actual control.

India lost a large chunk of area (including a big portion of Depsang plains) before and during the 1962 war in the Ladakh region. When the Chinese side unilaterally declared casefire in 1962, they withdrew 20 KMs from the line of actual control in the Western sector. In response, Indian forces also came back a few KMs to create a buffer zone. This buffer zone has been patrolled by both sides. Depsang Plain is situated south of Daulat Beg Oldi (the northernmost point under Indian control) & Karakorum pass (the link between Chinese Occupied Xinjiang & Pakistan Occupied Kashmir) and lies on the west of Siachen Glacier. Depsang plain is the biggest plain along LAC in Ladakh where tanks and armored vehicles can be used to fight a war. As India had built Daulat Beg Oldi (DBO) road, China is trying to deny access of Depsang plains to India. China already had a good road there and now Indian has built the road and it means both sides can bring their tanks.India has an army camp in that area and the DBO road passes through the area. The DBP road construction started in 2000 and since then the Chinese side is desperate to grab land from India. During many stand-offs during UPA rule, the Chinese Army came forward in this area and both India - China decided to go back. But the Chinese Army never went back. They kept interrupting Indian patrols and as per a few news reports Indian Army has not been able to patrol the whole of Depsang Plains (which India considers it's side of LAC) in the last 10–15 years. The same thing has been happening now. Whenever Indian forces go to patrol this area, the Chinese Army stops them from going forward. Somehow they have very strong intelligence and also this is a flat plain and they come to stop the Indian side but they have not built any camp in the area claimed by India. If an area is being patrolled by two parties and controlled by none then any party can come & occupy it. China during the 2020 standoff had occupied such buffer zones (claimed by both countries) in the north of Pangong Tso lake and India has done the same on the southern side of the lake. Here in Depsang plains, no area has been occupied but they are stoping Indian patrols and India has consolidated area under its control. This means China is also not able to come to their perception of LAC (they came very near to Indian camp in 2013). So, India has not lost any ground in this region which was under direct Indian control. But yes, India is not able to patrol its claim lines. Now a section of anti-Modi media & opposition parties have been trying to create a narrative that India has lost roughly 1000 sq. Km of land. First, the article appeared in The Hindu and it was picked up by the Congress party. Please check the date of the article - 31st August 2020. Around the same time, India announced that India had occupied some peaks in the south of Pangong Tso lake on the night of 29th-30th August. This was a deliberate attempt of “The Hindu” to humiliate & weaken Modi Govt. This story was then picked up by Pakistani media and you can see one the debates in Pakistani media -

Then other media houses like Indian Express[1], India Today[2] , The Print [3] etc. picked the issue and wrote articles. None of them are friendly media of BJP but they clearly state that India has not lost any ground and Indian patrols have been stopped. Some said that this has been happening for over 10–15 years. Except “The Hindu” & “The Wire” no one said that India has lost the ground. many Opposition parties (mainly Congress) have bee using the story by “The Hindu” to attack the Modi Govt. But they have failed to create a narrative that India has lost 1000 sq. KM of land and now this is clear to all of us India is facing a big challenge in the Depsang area from China
