we (excluding some fundamentalists) dont hate hindus , jews,ahmadis,shias. etc ,

everybody have right to live with honor ,

yes we support kashmires reason behind that is we want that they all of their human rights which they deserve ,and merger of kashmir was not legal with india , and recent atrocities on them should be condemned.

Sir with all deu respect why only in pakistan fundamentalists have so much support that if a mullah wants to creat some trouble its very easy & he gets fame for it eg.Mumtaz Quadri & you seem to be so concerned about the rights of kashmeeris that pakistan destroyed its all relations with india but they very easily forget that the same (refrandum & autinomy) lollipop was given to Balochs to jaion pakistani federation but what happened ...?so my kind sir actually your eliets were greedy of land and they used public sentiments as cannon fodder for it & pakistani public is taken for a ride and is still confused as to what next ,,,?

Exactly my point we in INDIA atleast tried honestly to rectify it by labour & land reforms , abolishing bonded labour ,giving laws like right to education ,laws aginst social & relegious discrimination and many more but what happened in pakistan .???

That is for the innocent public in Pakistan. If you look at the economics of being a freedom fighter in Kashmir you will know why young men are lured into it. In the last two decades, the tourism in Kashmir was very low and unemployment started climbing up. A kid aged 15 if asked to throw stones for money would foolishly do it. If a teen about to step into adulthood is handed a kalashnikov and brainwashed he will become a willing freedom fighter but he is merely a pawn in the hands of people who want to gain and gain at the cost of Kashmiris.

Forget Kashmir, look at Pakistan today. There are men who are willing to blow themselves up and in somebody's language they may be freedom fighters. Do you think the cause they are fighting is just ?

In my book, Freedom is defined to exist in
a state where good food, clean water and shelter is a given
a state where there is no fear
a state where there is respect for law
a state where the media is free but not crazy
a state where every citizen is treated equally
a state where every citizen of the state can have the fundamental right of expression
a state where every citizen is responsible for his own actions and clearly knows the consequences

Can an armed freedom struggle get us there in a lifetime ? Maybe. Maybe not. I would say never. An armed freedom struggle makes people lose lives and others live in fear. Think of Libya, Iraq. Will they get freedom in the next decade as I defined it. Maybe not. The boundaries of countries can be rewritten but just like pursuit of happiness, pursuit of freedom is something you always tend to pursue in various ways but there is always something that remains to be achieved.

Supporting a freedom struggle is nobel but supporting without knowing what exactly freedom means to a freedom fighter is a crime. For a freedom fighter/terror freedom could be death (brain washed). It could be a greed for power / fame. It is important to assess motives in todays complex world. Things are not black or white and they never were.

i agree on that point that there should be peaceful solution , all should stop violence and leave violence , but ppl want their rights.
My be some day we find a good peaceful solution.
