BAL should re-think about India. If India is a friend, BD needs no enemy in the international arena. India seeks the destruction of BD economy by imposing unfair duties on its imports from BD.

BD should ask for WTO intervention on the matter.

And this meeting BD will have to prove its not giving any subsides to the Jute industry. If not India might actually put out even more duty. Anyway BD has been given duty free imports of textiles at a huge disadvantages to India's own textile and apparel industry in a concession to Bangladesh. Indian industry has been crying hoarse since long. That was the one thing BD wanted. BD should also open up other sectors including services, engineering and some manufacturing to gain some leverage over Indian market.
