India Planning To Launch Own Space Station By 2030

i think it will increase space debris and will put existing international space station in danger due to collision resulting from likely failure of this indian attempt

Oh I am sure we'll never live up to Pakistan standards. Given Pakistan is world beater in space technology and hygiene. I just hope we could catch up with you.

Look jokes aside. I take wish Asia as a whole progresses but trouble with India is you start beating the crumbs and thumping your chest etc without actually doing anything.
Like now its come to light you have been lying about your economy. You are a superpower. You do surgical strikes where there is no evidence. Then you kill 300 and leave no trace. Not a si hole boy no damage nothing. You give us stories that you used leopard urine. I mean its nit our fault that we laugh at you. We make fun of abinandhan and Tea cup your women take of their bras and offer us a D cup.

Oh come on, we know you are the man on PDF. Bold part is not chest thumping or false bravado. It is so only when Indians do it. I get it.

Intelligence is not required to be elite on PDF. Good to know.

In one of the most ambitious projects ever undertaken by India, the country is planning to launch its own space station, Indian space agency ISRO chief K Sivan said today. India is targeting 2030 as the date to launch a 20 tonne space station, which will most likely be used to conduct microgravity experiments. The preliminary plan for the space station is to accommodate astronauts for upto 15-20 days in space, but specific details will emerge after the maiden manned mission, Gaganyaan, is complete.

ISRO says there will be no collaboration with any other country for this project. The only countries that have had space stations so far are the US, Russia, China and a consortium of nations that own the International Space Station.

The space station project will be an extension of the Gangayaan mission.

“We have to sustain the Gaganyaan programme after the launch of (the) human space mission. In this context, India is planning to have its own space station,” Mr Sivan told reporters in New Delhi. The government has already cleared a budget of Rs. 10,000 crore for the Gaganyaan mission. There would be two flights from Andhra Pradesh’s Sriharikota without the crew before the maiden flight with crew sometime in 2022.

Currently, ISRO’s focus is on India’s second mission to the moon, Chandrayaan-2, that will take off on July 15, and will attempt to land near the South Pole of the Moon, an uncharted territory so far. Chandrayaan-2 is an advanced version of the previous Chandrayaan-1 mission, which was launched about 10 years ago.

A space station is a spacecraft capable of supporting crewmembers, designed to remain in space for an extended period of time and for other spacecraft to dock, the most commonly known being the International Space Station.

The International Space Station is a habitable artificial satellite in low Earth orbit. It is the largest human-made body in low Earth orbit and can often be seen with the naked eye from Earth.

Congratulation India . will it have toilet in it ?;):p:tup:

BD is good, but most of students now got 3D models, graphics, VR Models and AV lectures, that they can view on there laptops or via internet. Other than BD, there are plenty new books which are updated to latest findings, this doesnt mean BD is any poorer on basics, its very good and easy going book and can be helpful to anyone.
PMDC preferred KLM Anatomy but
A medical student can easily pass by using BD....
There are real human bodies to disect in Pakistan....

India space research is progressive very well. NASA is also deeply partnering with Indian space research. Good luck to Indians.

Thank you.

Though I believe 2030 to be a bit late considering that SpaceX plans to put people on Mars in the mid-2020s and there is plan to put another International Space Station between Earth and the Moon.

@Yaseen1, about your point about debris ^^^

I agree. Most Indians are not ambitious enough. Indians should push themselves more.

Back to topic, good to keep high aspirations. These inspires youth for taking up bigger challenges and aiming high.
Timelines can be managed, aspirations should not go down and efforts to meet expectations should always ride high.
