What could india offer to US?...Brains I guess
Cheerleading!
As the Canadian above said, you are changing the subject at will.
(Although he mistakenly attributed that charge at me rather than you.)
Master, lapdog, whatever colorful terminology you want to use - the fact is that India is not string-pulled by USA as Pakistan is, Inia is not bullied and browbeaten by USA as Pakistan is, India's relations with USA are strictly in its own self interest, and India is not the country from which USA takes off drones to kill that country's people.
We have been a lot less reliant on USA than our enemies have. And when it comes to being surveyed upon, pak fares much worse than India, and China doesn't do to well either.
And being surveyed does not equate to being a "lap dog" as you seem to think.
Now you can either grow up and accept the reality that most countries spy on each other, and that all countries act in their own interest, and that only a few countries have the dubious distinction of having American aircrafts operate against them from their airspace against themselves, or you can keep up with your silly catchphrases like "lapdog" and so on with no regard for reality. It's your choice.
Yes, 50 years back we allowed USA to operate spy planes to collect intel on China and her nuclear programs. We gained a lot from that, as did the americans. Deal with it. I does not make us their lapdogs, because there are some countries that TODAY let USA fly aircrafts off their territory to bomb their own people. THAT'S what being a lapdog is about.
India co-operates with America when it is in her interest to do so. In the 65 and 71 wars with Pakistan, America was actively assisting Pakistan. The Bangladesh liberation war would have concluded a lot sooner, had the USA not supported Pakistan when it conducted pogroms in Bangladesh, dubbed "operation searchlight". The US even sent the USS enterprise into the Indian ocean to intimidate India, and it was only the presence of a few soviet nuclear sbmarines that kept them out of the picture.
Even today, all of Pakistan's cutting edge military hardware is American donated, with the rest of the not-so-cutting-edge (to put it charitably) stuff coming from china. Both cutting edge and crappy stuff being obtained through baksheesh of course, by that bankrupt country.
If there is any American lap-dog in the region, it is not India. It is a certain country that laps up handouts and charity and military "assistance" (read charity) from the USA while simultaneously hating and cursing the USA.
That is the problem with India - brain drain.
India ought to keep their brightest in India to develop the country, instead of working in the call centers or migrate overseas.

We are a billion+ country with an average age of just 23 years, while the world is aging. So I guess, in future, our biggest exports would be our brains.

Let’s admit it. India is not even a bleep on the US election radar this season.
Russia and China on Thursday vetoed a new UN Security Council resolution that would have slapped new sanctions against President Assad's regime, while India was among the 11 countries that voted in favour
Take a course on reading comprehension.
Sorry, no more time to waste on you.
give me a break on you much trumpeting "demograpic dividends" will you!
you have more trouble feeding the young than providing education to them
you need another country to prove your worth. Pathetic!
India is a large, young and vibrant country with lots and lots of entrepreneurship culture. I have no doubt India is going to benefit immensely from the demographic dividends, precisely because of its entrepreneurship culture.
As far as proving your worth in a foreign country, you can read my previous post.
well it is your opinion
but some other people are not looking at it this way
But I am not going into that any further than this:
India needs to think out-of-box to feed its population 10 years later - See more at: India needs to think out-of-box to feed its population 10 years later

Did you cared to read the article. This was once instance, post 1962 debacle. Considering the way China backstabbed, it is surprising that we did not allowed it much earlier. Enemy of enemy is a friend, isn't it.
Considering what you are doing in Pakistan and all around India, expect much more severe stuff going forward.
