India-Pakistan troops exchange sweets on Eid-ul-Fitr

As a goodwill gesture, Indian and Pakistani troops today exchanged sweets along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Col Natyal on behalf of Poonch Brigade of the Indian army handed over packets of sweets to his Pakistani counterpart at Chakan-da-Bagh crossing point along the LoC in the presence of
media persons around 1100 hours today.

Returning the gesture, Col Imran of 35 Baloch Regiment of Pakistan handed over packets of sweets to the Indian officer
and said, "We convey our greetings to Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims
and the Indian Army on behalf of Pakistan on this auspicious
occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr."
