How does one win a single match and reach semi finals seriously? Congratz on the win!

In champions trophey all teams qualify to the next round automatically because it's the 8 best teams of the world playing. Your position in the group stage of course decides who you end up meeting in the quarter final (if you come last you meet the winner of the other group which is what happened in Pakistan's case). However all teams do qualify to the next round and according to qadir (the man of the match) the Pakistani team were trying new tactics and gelling together in the group stage based on the fact that they haven't played international hockey for months ( we missed the commonwealth games cuz of the two parallel boards fighting each other and a tournament before that due to financial issues if I remember correctly). This whilst all other teams in the champions trophey were playing in these international tournaments.

Fantastic match. Both team played well... Congrats Pakistan we are in Final after 16 years in champions trophy. I wish Government give special attention on hockey, allocate special funds for players & Leagues.
