Yes, you can term the downing of the Mig a victory for Pakistan.
But what is the magnitude of this victory..?
Now imagine the same situation but with a Pakistani fighter jet down instead of Indian...!
Will it change the grand scheme of things..? Will it reduce the already heightened atmosphere between India and Pakistan...?
Will it reduce the posturing..?
And answer is No!
The real damage done is not the downing of an aircraft but the change in the grand scheme of things.
I hope you understand what I mean to say.
You're arguing hopelessly here. You wanted to conduct a cost-free strike inside Pakistan like 2016, a drama to cool off your public and a nice pre-election stunt at our expense. Instead you got way more than you bargained for. Not so long ago your air force discussed a two front war, and in your hubris you thought you could violate our airspace and make a drama at our expense, at no cost to you. I'm tired of repeating what's been posted possibly thousands of time on this forum, and what's publicly known. You were all dealt a reality check, all while the situation painted you as the belligerent warmongers.
Everyone involved in this fiasco on your end from politicians to planners, all should die of shame.
