But what is the magnitude of this victory..?
Now imagine the same situation but with a Pakistani fighter jet down instead of Indian...!
Will it change the grand scheme of things..? Will it reduce the already heightened atmosphere between India and Pakistan...?

India has already established the new set of rules regarding Kashmir and Pakistan.
The new rule is that a price has to be paid for mischief in Kashmir.
It is India that has crossed the border after 40 years to carry out the attack. But India’s over confidence cost a Mig 21, which is unfortunate but beneficial in the long run.
The important point to be noted is that India has not targeted any Pakistani military installations or personal, so the chance of leading to war is negligible.
Pakistan has downed the Indian Mig 21 after it had crossed over to Pakistan and not in Indian territory, it has right of defending its air space. Also Pakistan has not targeted/ destroyed any Indian military installations thereby not requiring a response from the Indian side.

The bombs fell on your side of the border. Since India did not hit any installation military or otherwise, Pakistan did the same. Had you actually hit something, you would got a different response. Therefore the new normal for India and its over confidence got shattered.

It seems you have not understood the meaning of the term ‘Price’ in my post. It has always been the economic aspect of this conflict. The economic weakness is the point which is leveraged by India.

This is where India and Indians seriously miscalculate. While your media was harping over 7 billion and shrinking reserves of Pakistan, the reality was this:

If India fired 6 missiles and Pakistan fired 18 in return, then India would have fired back 54 missiles and at that rate Pakistan would have run out of missiles far before India as number of missiles in Indian inventory is far higher.

All the Pakistani bombs missed and did not cause any damage or casualties so no need to retaliate.

Anyways Pakistan's former CJCSC Ehsan Ul Haq himself said 2 weeks back in a TV talk show that larger the war between India and Pakistan expands more will Pakistan's disadvantage increase.
As an example he said in a skirmish in one sector of LoC both sides will be equal but if the war expands to all along international border after India opens multiple fronts, Pakistan will be at a severe disadvantage and will be forced to rely on nukes.

See, this nuclear bluff of Pakistan has been called by India and it’s been proved that it’s just a bluff.
You must know that Pakistan was very quick to de-escalate the entire episode. Our W/C was handed over within 48 hours even after severe opposition from within Pakistan against his release. Many members of JEM ware arrested ( although it’s just a farce) to quickly de-escalate the matter.
Now you must realise that such small skirmishes will never lead to even a small war let alone a nuclear one.
Kargil war was the best opportunity for Pakistan to use nukes, did it use it..? No!

Pakistan captured two pilots from one downed Indian fighter jet, returned one and kept the other. The pilots from the remaining fighter jet are nowhere to be found.

Pakistan de-escalated by bombing sensitive Indian targets in the broad day light then claiming that no targets were bombed except open fields.

Pakistan knew very well that Pulwama was a false flag. The best policy for now for Pakistan is to ensure that Modi keeps getting reelected. Returning one of the pilots was icing on the cake. This would hopefully allow Modi to use it as a victory and very hopefully get elected for another term. But the false flag in Pulwama presented Pakistan with an opportunity of downing three Indian air force aircraft. A fourth one also crashed not too long after. It really was a gift tbh.

Pakistan is fully capable of completely annihilating India within a few minutes whether Pakistan goes down with it or not is completely irrelevant to us Pakistanis.

PM Imran Khan saying, "Don't miscalculate" was meant for a few other parties. I'd recommend better reading to enhance observational skills.

Yes your myth of being the power which would take on China has been busted badly. Dude you failed to properly take on us yet alone on China. You were being raised by USA as their new boy which would keep China in check, but these recent events have busted that myth and badly shattered the fantasy of India being next super power. Reality is India is still hell and Modi have failed on economic front and only salvation he sought was to create a big fat lie of surgical strikes, which he has successfully done on domestic level, but on international level he had ended up promoting Pakistan as a massive military power.
