The first time I had posted this information, I remember watching Chinese posters going berserk, stating this report was fake, because it showed China have more losses due to corruption than India
definitely is too definite.Of course China is ahead in most if not all social and development parameters.
There is no shame in admitting this.
We must strive to learn from the good things China has implemented in their country...and other Asian success stories in general too....big or small.
Do some Chinese members get a thrill out of disparaging India for being behind? Surely you cannot like this attitude given it is still being done to China from various other countries worldwide and your parents and forefathers also had to live through such a turmoil and dreadful conditions too? It is not a proper attitude to have.
Let us see how India performance stands after 1 or 2 terms of Modi at the helm. Things will definitely have improved for the better by then.

But you been here for what, a month, stay a little longer, my first post here is for India China cooperation, today, it is not. I rarely comment on India now, and almost never on issues directly relating the two.
Let's just say China India has a very weird dynamic, every third post on China by an Indian member is copy, collpase, or some other crap, I mean damn.
It's no one way street, but it is a street, thus traffic on both sides.

Yah I see what you mean actually. China is actually a big inspiration for me. We have much to learn from China for sure....Modi was very impressed by China and he is looking to implement many basic initiatives with the basic model tuned to Indian conditions. Thats why we got to give this new dynamic administration some time.
Plus India has seriously lagged China in education and training, it will take at least one generation to catch that up and then another to propel to same output levels (as the population structure replenishes and matures).
This is of course making big assumptions about the future, who knows whats going to happen for sure....but I wish both countries will learn to live with respect and friendship in the long run. During the competitive era of our countries, there is bound to be a lot of "nationalist" spirit if you konw what I mean where one belittles the other for whatever reason or wishes ill/bad on the other....but those among us who can see past all of this know that in the end both countries will mature and win together in the long run....I foresee a great Asian epicentre in the future....that will bring more balance to the world.
During the transition things are going to be heated and rough....hopefully cooler level headed emotions will prevail in this delicate time.
Let's compare a barely 2$ trillion to a 10$ trillion economy...
Bhai, there are far poorer countries than India doing much better in social parameters as well. Its not just about raw economic output.
We need to seriously address the shortcomings in the "BIMARU" states over 10 years to fix them into a rock solid foundation of basic human capital, it is their bad performance bringing down the whole average of the country. South and West India in parts are approaching some social parameters found in developed countries ...whereas Hindi heartland has large areas with large populations living at Sub saharan social levels or worse.
This is going to have to change quickly and the time is now with the new administration.
That's why I've always said that UP, Bihar (and perhaps WB) should be kicked out of India. Without these dakkus we can focus on growth instead of being brought down by demogaguing to them.
Something they will not like to accept.
Lack of transparency has allowed corruption to be rampant in China
China's losses due to corruption from 2003-2012 = $1.2 Trillion
Indian losses = $439 billion

Here's the thing: if only Indian media and internet Indians would stop jumping and pointing fingers at China, most Chinese would regard India as a curious but dangerous tourist country only.
And Chinese are such angels in their media and internet?
Judging from threads such as this is enough to see no one is holier than anyone else when it comes to nationalism, fear-mongering and rude/racist dismissing.
People are simply being people everywhere. They come in all different emotions and attitudes...and internet brings out the worst a lot of times.
