and its a news to worry .All this happened to to the MNC present in india .India can never counter china untill its market is dependent on "MADE IN CHINA" policy.
India can never be a military power on reginol grounds untill we develop indegeneous and set up production units.

- Elections are coming and Congress won't go to IMF as it will give opposition a chance. Similarly Congress won't take any hard measures to control the economy which means this burden will be transferred to the next Govt. Meanwhile economy will sink more.

i disagree with you.all the polls are showing either hung assembly or just 170 odd seats for bjp and guess what who's gonna gain??all the regional parties.a situation like 96-98 may occur like a unstable 3 rd front giving way to fresh polls in another 2 years ie 2016 but am betting on muslims to rise and vote for bjp otherwise we are fuc**d

Firstly i somehow agree as this crisis is not caused by a single body but each one of us is responsible for it.Our money is flooding to foreign companies.Even i am responsible i choose A Sony cellphone over micromax which is Indian brand.
I am not favoring the government but the need is to understand our part in this crisis.
Indian automobile giant tata motors ,the value of there share is falling continuously ,its because we are buying foreign stuff. The solution is instead of closing our eyes and criticize government we should learn the causes of this ,our role in it and how to avoid it in near future..

I think the bigger issue is the income and wealth disparity. You also have a large population of lower castes waking up and realizing their power and rights for the first time. Subsidies will be needed or the natives might get restive and that makes economic maneuvering rather difficult. Plus in all likelihood BJP will continue the policy of appeasement.

I somewhat agree to your views on lower caste and lower section of society .I myself being to a Royal family i agree that there has been inequality. But the present government is exploiting that inequality and giving them baseless reservation in important segments to use them as vote banks.This will only create idle citizen who do not know,that to earn something we need to work hard..

One more of option is currency swap like we have with Japan.too much to do with market sentiment nothing else.hard to believe fellow Pakistani friend is talking too much of Indian economy.Does they have any economy at all back home.

Please bear with me.The problem is not the economy slowing but laws like food security that are gonna cost are forever once implemented like quotas,no one is understanding this.We would be spending 30 billion blus $ on that shitty scheme and u expect govt to have enough money for infrastructure building after that???? wow,nice dreams
