India Offers “Tejas” to Sri Lanka To Counter Pakistan’s JF-17

your joke plane is no better than an upgraded Mig-21, but at least Mig-21 made its fame of being a lethal platform in its time, but your LCA has also made the fame of being the joke of modern aviation indsutry (after more than 30 years of foreign know-how supports and direct imports of core parts, your primitive industry still cant figure out how to build an out-dated crappy plane  )
Upgraded mig 21 LMAO that's why I usually avoid jokers you should keep yourself to poverty & dragon supa powa threads ,I must say I have seen many stupid Indian & Pakistani members in this forum but I have yet to see a sane Chinese member ,Chinese bamboo is an exception though

.
Thanks for getting me informed how much world specially Pakistan has advanced in the world, and LCA even don't have the simulator.

Just one question, does the women on top will become a driver, and take the car and drive after completing the course

LOLZ So the simulator for JF-17 is designed and made in Pakistan.

And this "Cockpit Display System"...

The Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) and the Defence Avionics Research establishment (DARE) – under the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) – are putting up three real-time simulators of the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas and the Sukhoi-30 MKI at the DRDO exhibition stall during the Aero India at Air Force Station Yelahanka. These would be for professional pilots as well as the public to use.

PS Subramanyam, programme director (Combat aircraft) and director, ADA, told BM that the two simulators would be open to visitors to try out.

HS Nagaraj, group director (mechanical systems), ADA, said LCA Mark-I and Mark-II simulators would be put up by the ADA, while the Su-30 MKI simulator is being put up by DARE. “The Mark-I simulator can actually sit inside the cockpit and fly as per the instructions and enjoy the ‘flight’ as if they are really flying an aircraft. The system provides a 3D effect to the users who would feel the real sense of taking off, landing and sending the aircraft in a tizzy and doing the rolls,” he said.

Yup, Pakistan is now more advance than USA.

Afterall Pakistan is a nation that invented flight simulators.

many people dont consider one main factor of tejas
tejas is expensive more than 30 millon while jf 17 block 2 has only 22 millon by calculating from sales at paris air show of 8 planes at 175 millon
LCA flyaway cost is $22 million.

. .
Why would India Offer Sri Lanka a Fighter jet that is not ready for her own use ?

.
First there is no harm in appreciating the real ones who designed and created the aircraft i..e Chinese. China make FC-1 without trainer to lower the development Price. Second Pakistan haven't ordered a Trainer, but China is developing trainer to get more orders in international market. And third Simulator aided the pilot for safer training, and for practicing, lowering the training price and lowering the maintenance and increasing the TBO of the aircraft, and is not the MUST, but a necessity for the Airforce, for new pilots training. and LCA tejas don't have a Simulator.

Tejas is not just a Plane, but the whole program, aiming to create the whole ecosystem in the country, and creating an aircraft from zero to 4+ gen fighter plane with 4 critical technology also from the scratch like FBW, FACEEC, Composites, and Turbofan Engine will take at least 35 for any country. Do you know the Budget of Tejas is well inside 1.25 Billion and which country manage to crate the 4th gen fighter plane by first creating the institution that do so.
Developing a fighter plane in house is long and difficult process, but its fruits come with great benifits. Many of us didn't realize that Tejas is present in the Jaguar Darin-2, and Mig 27 Upgrade program, or the EW suite of the MKI, which was produced for the Tejas.

1. You didn't quoted me specifically, but you was somehow challenging everyone that Simulator have replace the trainer role in the modern world
2. The AF around the world opted this technique to lower down the training cost, in a safer environment, but Simulator could not replace the real trainer completely till now. Technology have created the Simulator to be more realistic, and now we have the simulator like the DOME by the US, which gives the pilot feels 360 degree realistic environment, and soon the pilot will get the 5D effect also aka feel of gravity, g-force etc. This will lower the training cost, but still I feels trainer whould always be there, to give the Pilot to give the realistic feel, and not the feeling, and the output of the simulated values by the simulator computer, based on the data feeded for a fighter plane.
3. It was not the PAF, but the Chinese who is interested more in the trainer version, because the aim of the Chinese for JF-17 is the export.
4. I think the realistic date should be 2017-18. For LCA trainer version which is a Superlative LIFT also, could be used in the wars for CAS mission, which is also an advantage, and another advantage could be that it could be easily used for the pilot for training of MKI, whose controls gauge, and instruments could be MIMIC with the glass cockpit of the LCA trainer, thus increasing the TBO life of MKI.
1. You Indians are so funny sometimes...You and Your people quoted me to mock that JF-17 does not even have a trainer then I said PAF is happy with Simulators, and now you are saying that "YOU DO NOT FEEL" that its good and trainer will always be there...So Sir with due respect you are "NOBODY" and your opinion matters zero % .....So now you indians are gonna teach PAF what is good and what's not..! :o:
2. Dont talk about the thing which you have no knowledge of, As Alan Warnes said, its always been Pakistan trying to export JF-17 and flying this jet in all air shows to attract buyers, China has other better jets than this to export, obviously as this was JV so China does play its part and "Trainer" version was started when the first buyer according to ACM demanded for trainer version too... Go check JF-17 Info thread pool and do read the latest ACM interview, I think Horus has posted that...!

Unless they want a squadron of Tejas downed in crashes every week, then i suggest for them to go with the Jf-17

JF 17 is a magical plane that went into induction within 2 years after 1st flight. That's the only one that's gonna crash. 10 years after induction no trainer, nothing. They wanna burn money on lala land, no one can stop them

An Indian talking about poverty in China...? That is more suprising the pigs flying.

We dont need specific traings of Jf-17, Simulations and couple Mushaks are good enough. Yes,a plane went into inudction within two years after 1st flight, it shows our and chinese technological skills. Meanwhile India has been trying to fix a shitty project it calls "Arjun" for a decade now.

You keep giving this lame excuse in every thread without any knowledge...But i don't hold you responsible for this..Your -ve ratings shows your caliber... JF 17 was inducted after 4 years of first flight...! And 4 years are enough to induct a jet after first flight, its not an aircraft carrier or alien ship like Tejas..Its a simple jet and 4 years are ENOUGH to induct after first flight and its capabilities were then ENHANCED gradually with time up to this date...!

Progress
The first JF-17 prototype aircraft (called FC-1) was rolled out in May 2003. It made its first flight in August 2003.
Later on, two more prototype aircraft were added for basic structure, flight qualities, performance and engine flight testing while two prototype aircraft were involved in comprehensive avionics flight testing. The basic flight testing was completed in 2007 which also marked the arrival of JF-17 Thunder aircraft in Pakistan where it was formally presented to the nation as a Pakistan Day gift on 23 March 2007. A Test and Evaluation Flight was established at PAC Kamra which carried out the detailed operational evaluation of the aircraft as well as the training of ground and air crew. The JF-17 aircraft has been formally inducted in Pakistan Air Force by replacing A-5 aircraft of an Operational Squadron of PAF. The aircraft was show cased for the first time at Farnborough Air Show UK in the year 2010.
