India Offers “Tejas” to Sri Lanka To Counter Pakistan’s JF-17

The LCA is not even ready and the Indian press is just desperate to save their face by bragging its offer for export to Sri Lanka. Lol..

I bet the Sr Lanka pilot who flies the LCA will find the plane can't even pull beyond 8G. This is a unproven plane with underpowered engine for its heavy weight.

About 200 LCA has been ordered of all variants and has trainers. You do realize that a human loses consciousness in 6 G? T/W ratio of LCA is better than that of JF 17. LCA already has trainers up and flying along with Naval variants that have already done Ski Jumps. LCA is wayyyyyy more mature than JF 17 that has only 40 jets, most called 'prototypes' and no trainers almost a decade after 'induction'.

Lolll is taking a sub standard product like Thunder and peddling it as good.

Aby fly tu kerne de Tejas ko , abhi se kahan Fight mai gussa rahe ho !!!!!

1. When will the final version of the tejas be available for export, 2018, 2020, 2025? I doubt a definitive export version of the tejas will be available until the early to mid 2020s.

2. The quoted price for the IAF is $27m and the current estimated export price is $36m - $40m. What will the final price be?

3. What is the track record of HAL when it comes to marketing and after sales support?

4. What else is or will be available on the market at a comparable price when it is finally available? The philipines recently ordered the south korean F50 which seems to have similar specs, the J17, mig 35, J10, grippen, even updated second hand F16s....

If you realistically take these into consideration the prospects for the tejas aren't good.

so much of your BS, a good military pilot cam withstand 9G with G suit and your LCA is underweight and under performed.

As for the 60 JF-17 prototype is such jealous Indian or biased American rubbishing it. Fancy you used a bogus source to proof yr point?

The Indian are famous for making false and unrealistic statement to save face.

Bragging about export LCA now to compete with JF-17 is a joke.

:lol::lol::lol::lol: Control your BS man:lol::lol:
1. PAF have said many times we don't need trainers...Trainers that will be inducted in 2016 will be for the buyers not for PAF..There goes your first myth..!
2. Its 7 years since 2008 and program had many ups and downs due to funds issues but still its more than 60 FUNCTIONAL JETS inducted since 2008...!

What ever the reason, people need to take the jingoistic ferver out of it and just look at it from a logical perspective.

Apart from my 4 privious question one also needs to ask what countries are in the market for fighter in this category and also have the financial resources to buy them, not too many right now.

a) MY *** it's functional jets. So called fuctional jets are called 'prototypes' by your AF only. No Serioes Production aircraft, nothing. Even Tech Demonstrators are added

b) In the lala land of PAF, you will first induct a prototype, then test it while inducting another 50 and then build trainers.

c) Explain to me you clowns, when AESA Radars are heavier, how come JF 17 will magically incorporate them without frame changes while India has to bring in more powerful engines?

f**ing idiots.

With all due respect Mr Chinese, We are currently doing what you did few years back i.e building a plane from the scratch.. There is no reason to make sarcastic or funny statements here.. pls stay on topic

No trainers.. They are Star wars pilots in PAF who can fly any new platform just like the back of their hand..
you must also know as Some one in this forum quoted that one **** soldier is equal to 10 Indian or any other soldier in the world.. In those league it is rightful for **** pilots to fly a completely new fighter(Chinese made :woot:) without having any training or even trainers.. SOPs are created from heaven for them..

By the time Tejas enters service -- 4 Sqds of twin seater JF-17s will be flying... Twin seater will be inducted by 2016.
Great but why are you so optimistic. Do you have over faith in Pakistani Engineers Or you are too impressed with the Chinese. BTW whats happening to the twin seater, pls ask the chinese, because whatever you know is from the Chinese.
