You do realize right that terrorist attacks mainly kill poor people who mostly use public transport like trains and buses that get bombed. Rich people rarely die in terrorist attacks. It's to protect these people that it is important that men like Saeed are behind bars.
i agree that on both sides most of these terror attacks target innocent people and that's why we all must condemn all forms of terrorism
Saeed however was exonerated by the LHC on charges of terrorism related to mumbai attacks....bring forth the sufficient evidence that could be used to implicate HS to those attacks......he himself has denied all the accusations and the courts failed to prosecute him due to lack of evidence.
i'm sorry to say -- just because mumbai took place doesnt mean Pakistan can blindly bend laws and arrest/detain it's own citizens illegally and unjustly...in fact HS was placed under house arrest but the courts ordered that his detention be revoked some months later. So if the court makes that order, how can you demand that he still be locked up? Where's the logic in that?
believe me - Pakistanis would love to see closure to mumbai thing so we can move on and stop hearing about it constantly. It isn't as if most (if any) in the country supported those attacks - which as you mentioned, killed mostly civilians who happened to be at wrong place @ wrong time.
when innocent people are killed doesnt matter they are rich, poor, doesnt matter their religious belief or political beliefs - it's wrong.
indian should update their mentality and realize that Pakistan would have nothing to gain by supporting mumbai-like attacks or supporting or harbouring people that would support such a thing like that.....we may have some grievences with your country but that's a seperate issue.
Samjhota Express bombings and Mumbai attacks investigation should continue unabated in a thorough and professional manner and justice should be brought both to the families of victims as well as to the perpetrators
