There must be some media who must have reported this news.

Ukranians have Antonov factory and their expertise lies with Antonov planes and not with MiG's.

However overhauling is not a big deal.

Still would prefer source/links.

That's what I have been trying to tell you in last few days,that our media do not cover in detail about upgrades,do not cover about procurement through investigative reports.They only report when some one from Defence ministry states about procurement,just like few days ago Planning ministry stated BAF is going to buy a squadron of Fighters.

That's why I gave you that "homework",because I know BD media never publishes in details about these things.They show more interest in cutting down defence budget.

The reason some members know a little more,that's because of relatives in defence force.I have a brother in BAF.As some other members here also have relatives in Defence.

BAF migs are not completely overhauled in Ukraine,the complicated parts are sent to be overhauled in Russia.

Our Mi-17s are also sent to Russia for overhauling.

It was wartime alliance in 1971 that caused that kind of Indian DONATIONS. But, mind that this was one reason that the AL became unpopular.

Good will gesture should start from border. When there will be no more killing, people treat each other with respect, and fanatics does not dictated the terms, only then there might be a possibilities of military ties with India. Until then "Thank you very much".

Please take back all those para officers who are in training at Agra.

No more Naval excersices with India. These excersices were also made during BNP and Military rule.

No more BAF,BA and BN officers going to India for training.

So when you are going to impose this policy?

Few Indian officers also taking training in Bangladesh military academies. These training has nothing to do with the question that we are discussing here rather these are just customery to send officers to different countries for training and to better understand their military.

It still comes under Military Ties. When one says no military ties with India till this and till that there must be no military ties at all.

No defence attache at embassies as well.

We dont want to break military ties with BD. We never said so in this thread.

Its BD members who wants to break all military ties hence you can send them back but we wont be calling them back.

The argument itself is irrilavant in the first place.
