Russia barely has any foreign industries producing in its territory compared to others, yet has a $1.6 Trillion GDP. All Domestic production.

India-USA trade is $100 billion plus. there are always bound to be disagreements
tariffs on India are withdrawal of exemptions granted to India for its development status

Well said.. one of the most overlooked fact of all time... Russia is the only country in the world which is completely self reliant in all fields.. it has massive oil reserves which are kept away from public eye... it can meet all its energy needs internally.. only reliance it has is from China for electronics and rare earth metal...in return china gets latest technology of weapons from Russia.. and china will always be on Russia side being communist brothers...

US threatens to use CAATSA on India and increases tariffs on India , then India proceeds with S400 purchase...then US tells India it is a "NATO ally". what a bunch of BS. NATO needs India now mainly because NATO cant contain China without India. India holds the advantage.

You are missing the point, Trade and strategic alliance has become two separate things in current times.
India and US can be strategic partners but when it comes to trade then its a different issue.
