Seeing as Buddhism originated in India, i do not doubt it.

Both religions are great.

concept of 'religion' came to india at a very later age ,we once believed in the 'matta(viewpoint)' and 'dharma(duty and law)' which is common to all indian traditions.

hindu is not a religion its a word with secular meanings used by arabs to denoted indians .
