India has no need what so ever to join CPEC. Our internal infrastructure projects dwarf CPEC in scale and cost. Plus it gives Pakistan and China a nod to legimately keep the portions of Kashmir they have. Having any trade, goods passing through Pakistan could mean a dependency on them to get our supplies through. Nothing against CPEC besides the fact it runs through Kashmir.

Large population does not mean that large quantity of electricity required/person, but the availability of resources,finance,proper planning for decades,investment focus on energy sector,MNC's involvement,countries growth,industrial output etc and infact India has more than 5000 major dams but pakistan have only few major dams and why your country not focused on building dams for irrigation/power generation still very strange, since most of the resources/finance concentrated on military build up and less focused on basic things like power,education,health care etc.At the end neither military can match vs India nor much progress on basic things...

Now divide total energy demand of India on Total energy demand of Pakistan / year. Answer is 6.25.

Which mean's India need 6.25 times more electricity for it's Population then Pakistan. and i didn't even included Industrial demand. Now add other factor's (Including Industrial boom) and You will get your reason's to have more electricity demand and Production then Pakistan.

Yes but in your example you crossed your argument out mathematically. Your assumption per person has a fixed rate for both the countries. Which means a larger population will only mean an increase in consumption to be directly proportional. That means you could have divided the populations on their own and not had to multiply by the rate that you chose to get 6.25. In your example India's population is 6.25 times that of Pakistans, and the energy consumption has the same ratio. But in reality the population vs the consumption ratios are not equal. A larger population will not make the consumption per person go higher, only more development will do that.

But you forgot that India is producing more than 16 times electricity than pakistan.Also you forgot that in pakistan, electricity demand is not met for pakistani population, since not adequate electricity generated.Even india is 3rd largest producer of electrcity in world still we also have to connect many villages/people for their demand.

Indian population is almost equally distributed through out india(Except few places) compared to pakistan, since pakistan population lyes majority on punjab province,sides of indus river and karachi(Evident from NASA night image).

At 1.66 km of roads per square kilometre of land, the quantitative density of India's road network is higher than that of Japan (0.91) and the United States (0.67), and far higher than that of China (0.46), Brazil (0.18) or Russia (0.08).

So electricity demand to cover such large road network+large population is also a major reason to push for more energy demand/production requirement.

According to the highways ministry road-building in India will touch a record high of 27-28 kms per day.So you can understand the magnitude for over all energy demand...

I clearly see light on Pakistan map. Are you blind or never seen proper map before? Pakistan isnt' as over populated as India. 80% of population live around ML-1 railway track Karachi-Peshawar

As you can see in Nasa map this green line is where most of light is concentrated.

They have created a maglomania around it.

4) Pakistan has been doing black mails since 1948 and we all know and seen what happened each time it tried to bully.

3) Kashmir is our concern because we are controlling it's large part. Kashmiris have rejected india. They are our concern in IOK.
4) India has been making false promises with kashmiris since 1948. Every timewe fought for kashmir, everyone know who went to UN and beg for ceasefire.
