while i acknowledge that kejriwal ( and aap ) is a progressive ( and i will work with his movement ), it must be acknowledged by others that however much the failure of the indian communists in not establishing a socialist nation, progressives like kejriwal or arundhati roy or the two ladies who rapped about rape recently, could have their say because of the alternative basis provided by people like yechury.
in the last company i did job in, i tried to establish a employees union... it would have been the first union in india's modern services and info. tech. industry... i mention this because yechury was a student leader.
he is more of a ideologue... besides, it is not necessary that those who win municipal elections or any election are really the progressives.
i have indeed spoken to aap people ( like i said before ) and i will recommend these to them...
1. they quoted a statement of yogendra yadav where he says that aap does not fix itself into any ism's and may derive its solutions from capitalism or socialism depending on the situation... now, the "swaraj" concept itself is socialist and for such highly visible issues like farmer suicides and jobnik suicides, there is nothing that capitalism can offer... so they must simplify their agenda or ideals until they see that socialism is the way.
2. convert all nomeclature into english language... for example, "swaraj"... (a). if they want muslims and christians to come, they must make them comfortable with the language itself, (b). direct-democracy is ancient greek philosophy ( demokratia ), and this must be acknowledge clearly.
i have a plan for all progressive groups in south asia, including aap and yechury's cpi-m, and i just wait for funds to be raised ( about ten lakhs ).
believe me, south asian progress is my life effort for the next ten years... i have been politically active on way or another since 2003.
ussr became a one-party dictatorship in the process of countering the multi-party capitalist dictatorships of the western bloc... this cannot be denied... which is why there was a "green book" edition for ussr for them to adopt the direct-democracy system in libya, which would be the next step for ussr towards true communism... alas, the events in ussr.
but ussr idea is still alive, to whichever degree... and former ussr states have constructed various unions since 1991, including the recent "eurasian economic union".
like i said before, you must consult with the russian member, vostok, about communism idea in russia.
