Make your own freaking artillery!
Stop relying on foreign powers for something as elemental as guns, ok, out-sized guns.
Indian metallurgy is not able to produce quality barrels for those guns.
But instead of stones, we need to lob the bureaucrats and politicians responsible for this gawdalmighty mess across the LoC and LAC with these home made trebuchets!
its onli the sarkaari companies who cant produce good stuff @ mukund alloys owned by Bajaj group produces the best alloys for the same stuff and export it to many nations even the gears made by there special alloys are used by many top auto manufacturers from around the world and its just one of the many even TVS,kalyani gears, kirolskar make good metal alloys in house
This is actual BS from the Indian media. The M777s WILL BE ordered by India THIS FISCAL.
Retards........

The point is that the line is closing, so it will cost a lot more than the previously quoted price.
No it won't. The price has been fixed. As this is a FMS deal such things are set in stone.
We already have enough - fire them in Indian Ocean
Sir ji, there is definitely difference between alloys used in gears and barrels of guns. Barrels have to withstand and dissipate the heat quickly in addition of less wear and tear required by gears.
Nonsense. How is this any different from the Barrels of Arjun Tank that India produces.
There are at least two players in India who has the technology to manufacturer such barrels. Bharat Forge and Midhani.
I am sure there are more or can get partners who will come into India like Mittal steel if required.
