India loses Afghan proxy war

A bit too late for that. Afghanistan needs Pakistan to survive. Majority of Afghanistan is also run by the Pakistani intelligent services via our proxies the afghan-Taliban...........:azn:......which is why the Americans are negotiating with them even though they said they never would..........:azn:.........india is NOT even on the negotiating table as far as the power brokers of Afghanistan is concerned........:azn:

You are making the same point which has already been countered above by me. When Taliban takes over Afghanistan akin to the late 90s. Then we will talk. Until then you can keep celebrating the Taliban victory on PDF. Also, majority of Afghanistan is not under Taliban rule. Not yet. A latest map has been posted above from Al Jazeera.

You have not countered any argument. You have simply stated many conjectures without any proof.

The most telling point is the Americans being forced into negotiation with the Taliban when they stated that they never would negotiate with them. The Americans winding down their operations in afghanistan and Pakistan facilitating their eventual full withdrawal. Afghanistan's severe reliance on Pakistan for survival.
Pakistan using it's ISI proxies, the Afghan Taliban to be the ultimate power brokers in afghanistan. If anything, Pakistan's control over Afghanistan has now increased since 2001, rather than decrease.

You have to also remember that the majority of Afghans and Pakistanis are racially related. We are very much the same people and we share a border with one another. As Afghanistan is also a landlocked country that is extremely poor, it would be very easy for us to control them. Not including the disdain the non-Pushtun Afghans have for Pakistan, there is NOTHING indians and afghans have in common with one another. You don't even share a border with each other.

And most would bet on NA than the opium snorting Talibs.
Talibs are against drugs .
The opium and hashish production went to almost zero under Taliban rule. They are known for destroying hash and Poppy fields.Your beloved NA and Americans helped narcos increasing this drug menace in Afghanistan.
Get your facts right apu

.
Yes. Rather, India has been thrown out of Afghanistan, like that proverbial dead fly out of the milk.

Was always a temporary meaningless alliance with no long term strategic benefits. india can NEVER be a major force our power-broker in afghanistan for the same reason we couldn't in bangladesh: Too far away, too racially/genetically different, different language, too culturally different with no shared beliefs.

 Oh this Apu reference applies to you as well. Anyway, you think Taliban makes money from tree that bear dollars?

Sure, it went zero under Taliban and that's why you are one of the largest consumers of Taliban products. I maybe wrong about who snorts it.

India's presence is not required since it's goals are the same as any other civilised nation (unfortunately excluding Pakistan) involved in the negotiations like the US. A modern democratic Afghanistan not taken over completely by a rabid Taliban. Peace to you means letting Taliban take over that's not what it means to anyone else involved, including most Afghans themselves. You are quite update on the news, but need to apply some grey matter in analysing the situation as well.
What you need to realise is that Afghanistan is our back yard and is vital to our security. We will ensure that the dispensation in Afghanistan is in our interests. To that end we have opposed US plans and wishes regardless of the consequences and we have finally brought them round to our way of thinking. No one including the Americans and Russians care what India thinks or wants, because what India wants is s continuation of the war and the Americans to stay on in perpetuity.
You've been rumbled.

I don't see any control of Pakistan in Afghanistan at this stage. What happens in future, we dont know but there is no reason to believe that the civilised world will let the Taliban rule Afghanistan the way they did in the 1990s. The day ISI supported terrorist proxies like Jaish are able to hijack Indian passenger planes and keep them in Afghanistan like in 1998, Pakistan hasn't won. Even if you are right that the Taliban has become the power brokers in Afghanistan, their status from Rulers in 1990s to power brokers now is a serious demotion.

As per the racial similarities, except for the Pashtuns who make up roughly 45 % of Afghanistan and 15 % of Pakistan, there are no racial similarities between Pakistanis and Afghans. They call Pakistanis Dal Khors and mock them. Recently they were seen beating up Pakistanis outside a cricket stadium in England.

Americans will stay in one capacity or another. Even if they don't, they WILL return IF AT ALL Taliban takes over Afghanistan and ANA and Afghan Govt. are not able to hold out.

Afghanistan was Pakistan's backyard from 1996 to 2001 during Taliban rule. Never before that. Not after. And those times will never come back again, the civilised world won't let it happen again. Not after 9/11. As I said, even if by chance, the Taliban were to take over, the country will be invaded again and the Taliban will be toppled in a few days like last time.

Whatever helps you sleep at night.
We have defeated not only your designs in Afghanistan but also your credibility as a regional strategic partner to the US.
It is a resounding diplomatic and strategic victory for Pakistan.
I can see it's proving difficult for you to accept and digest, but everything will become clear to you in the coming weeks.

It doesn't matter what you think or see. Only the ground realities matters and that's where Pakistan's control of Afghanistan is increasing like never before........:azn:......the take over of Afghanistan by our proxies is almost complete.......it will be done by stealth, proxy, deception and by the blessing from those you least expect it from........:azn:

Pushtun only make up 15% of Pakistan?????????????...............they make up at least 35-40%% of Pakistan's population. In fact there are more Pushtun in Pakistan than there are in Afghanistan........:azn:

As long as no global terror attacks emanates from Afghanistan, the WHOLE world NO longer cares about it. In fact, over the last 5 years, more terror attacks have come from Western nations. Home-grown terrorism. Those flag-waving days following 9-11-2001 are long dead...........:azn:

PS fights in cricket matches determine racial similarities????????..........The non-Pushtun afghans attacked Pakistani fans PRECISELY because they are angry and frustrated that the Pakistani state is taking over afghanistan and making it virtually into our little colony.

Indian psyche of hegemony, supremacy and arrogance has been seriously hurt; consequently natural reactions from Gangadeshis.

Their psyche of being 2 faced liars who are only interested in their own narrow selfish interest has been exposed. They thought they were being very clever to milk the US while still being a client state of Russia. They thought they could play everyone by telling each what they wanted to hear. We used to see Indian posters on this forum boast about this as a victory for Indian diplomacy.
The S400 episode was the final straw for the Americans, it opened their eyes to what the reality of the policy of Pivot to India actually was.
IMO and that's all it is, the US has realised that the lurch away from Pakistan, a proven long term ally, and towards India, a Russian client with delusions of grandeur, is not going to bring the long term benefits they envisaged. This has forced them to rethink and recalibrate their entire policy, the effects of which started to become visible with the visit of PMIK.

For those of you who are questioning the Afghan Taliban's control of Afghanistan, here is a GENUINE, HONEST and RELIABLE source by an AMERICAN who explains the new strategy the Afghan Taliban have employed to take over Afghanistan........:azn::

https://foreignpolicy.com/2018/09/12/the-talibans-fight-for-hearts-and-minds-aghanistan/

The above is the reason WHY the American SUPERPOWER is negotiating with Pakistan's proxies = Afghan Taliban, even though they don't want to........:azn:

Has the Taliban accepted the Durand line?

Nah, they have virtually given it to Pakistan on a platter as most of the Pushtun now live in Pakistan and they know that is where their future lies.......:azn:...........the Americans have given their blessings too..... ....Afghanistan is virtually a Pakistani colony now..........:azn:

TBF, Trump DID give the indians a chance to take over Afghanistan when he requested they send their troops there, about a year ago. They refused and that was the last straw. The Americans have realized that the ONLY people who can control and govern Afghanistan effectively are Pakistan's proxies = the Afghan Taliban, NO-ONE else can. We are the natural inheritors and leaders of Afghanistan. It is our defacto colony.......:azn:

All the money spent on sponsoring terrorism inside afghanistan and Kashmir or to defeat Pakistan overthere could be used to alleviate poverty in India. What a pity billions of dollars are wasted.

Yes sure you need a BBC in your mouth so you can't spread false news pajeet
That news article is a complete loathe of crap.Talibs are known for implementing Sharia law which is strictly against drugs use.
Before the west got defeated overthere they tried everything they can to defame and label Taliban as pure evil.Blaming them as narcos was just one example.
Oh Pakistans more use hashish than a opium fortunately.Opium use is less here.Hash is ok that's much less destructive, actually not destructive at all as a occasional party drug.
