It's very simple, we produce 600mil tonnes of grain for 1.4 bil population and yet we still need to import more grain. India produces 300mil tonnes of grain for 1.3 billion people and still export grain. Simple logics bhai. Look at the GLOBAL HUNGER INDEX for a better view.
