Why don't you go and google the number of Indian army commands, corps, divs stationed near Pakistan front. While at it also google the number of IAF squadrons who are focused on Pakistan. Truth is Indian forces are totally Pakistan centric and if history has taught us anything Indians are never going to fight anyone their own size so it's better that you drop you dreams of fighting china because they are way out of your league and can steamroll your Army in less than 72 hours.

Not likely. The deal itself has provision for only 18 more at the same prices. And has to signed before the last fighter is delivered. With budget crunch hitting IAF, it has not even taken delivery of Tejas around 7-8 sitting at HAL hanger. Not more than 18 should be purchased. And Rafales should act as tip of the spear till AMCA comes around.
The extra money should be spent towards Ghatak, LCH, Mk2 development.

27th Feb proved that IAF's SU-30MKI are duds. It was the day when IAF died. They need to now rebuild the entire IAF. It will take decades to match what PAF is today. IAF will never be able to catch up with PAF.

They know it and hence running around like headless chickens.
