In that research for example is stated that Iran has a bare majority of Persians, and than a great minority of Azeris, and 7 other ethnical groups. They overlook the fact that of those 7 other ethnical groups, most of them belong to the Iranian people, like the Kurds, Lurs, Bakhtiari, Gilani, Mazandarani, etc.
We are the most diverse the most diverse country in the world. Still we stand as one united nation. Hats off to Indian democratic institutions.

also, regarding ur last post, india has a majority race: Australoid (60% of gene pool). the difference is that in this case, the majority race is considered "inferior" and was mistreated for millennia until democracy saved them due to numbers
