I read the international news every day after reading my local news, they seem to have a fetish for social problems in India, especially this issue.

Man, I sincerely think that you're reading too much into this. Western media is on average incredibly shallow and as Doyalbaba just posted, India's own Media have their own flaws.
I can assure you that the main part of this is not to ensure hegemony although it of course at times is / can be but rather that it allows them to play on important ( read click/visits generating ) stories and to give themselves an international coverage status veneer, all the while avoiding self-criticism which, again, I'll admit is lowly.

Besides, honestly, until the media from China is as free to be stupid as that of either the West or India, your right to argue about that is severely undermined so that it may not be proper for you to dwell on that unless you are a representative of the CPC in which case, it would be even more self-serving and out of order?

I'm not being antagonistic here, just honest and frank. I have been very critical of my "cultural origin" or substrate in many venues including my own blog when necessary including in one case about its views on China so my record allows me to point it out.
Besides, why not concentrate on the thread's inception which is an official Western government answer to the stupidity of the reported action by that professor?

Instead of writing letter to professor Sickinge telling him all this, the Envoy should have wrote to his government suggesting strict action against the professor who refused internship to Indian student on the basis that are immoral in today's German society. I don't think it is bad to publish such reports but highlighting every single is not right.It malign the country's image across the globe.Every society have these type of elements but calling a country "country of rapist" is very wrong
