What's new

India is likely to be renamed 'Bharat,

Makes sense India is a name given to the locals by colonial masters. Nehru slave mentality lapped it up. Then again Bharat is also a stupid name, considering original bharat was a small state in the north east of subcontinent. Should be better called gangudesh

Finally pakistan can be named industan or in urdu hindustan .

This is good, India was a misnomer.

Should also be declared a Hindu Rashtra. They aren't hypocrites, the Hindutvadis, unlike the sickulars and liberals.
Good idea .

Madras city renamed to Chennai but the high court is still called as Madras High Court..similary Bombay High Court..

It really doesnt matter for common public... many or in fact most of the parents in India dont even call their own children by their real name..India, Bharat, Hindustan, United Bharat..anything should be fine..
Well it thats the case then it might be ok.. depends how down the rabbit hole they want to go. If they let documents, notes etc stay as it is and dont change the name of every institution, then it might not be too bad.

The scope for trolling is massive, the hindutva will push the buttons of a diverse India and we should be ready to exasperate those divisions within india

They could have always done that. For example, Taiwan and China are not in denial about their ancient name.

India is literally Hindustan [Land of Indus]. Ancient name begins there. Two nations they talk about are actually Hindustan and Bharat. But, Pakistanis [Bharati Scythian cousins] vehemently denied India, claiming their history began with Bin Qasim.
