Well said. I believe useless arguments should stop now. There is a big "IF" in Gen Kapoors statement that needs to get its due notice.

i just used ur post to prove my point.. that it is Defensive strategy...
the aim is in case Both pak and CHina attack India, they should be taught a lesson....so this is what it is all about...but only IF ATTACKED.....

That is not the question which requires to be answered....

But that is something(the scenario of Pak/China attacking India together) for which advance prepration is necessary...coz u cant say tomorrow Oh we didnt think it will happen...
Though there is nothing like war b/w us anywhere in near future.....

The game is India knows it is not up to China, But Pakistan is strategic interest for China, India will hot Pakistan first to show China it has the capability to engage China.
