Last time I checked ganges wasnt breakng the world record for pollution, seems like all the dirt n smoke in beijing has made chicoms lose their minds.

Why has India not done the obvious thing and prevent these troops from being supplied? Surround them and have flights over the area to prevent air drop.

This would force China to be the one that fires the first shot/escalate , or pull back the troops once supplies run out.

Is it a lack of capability or will?

Both. Since last 10 years the amount sanctioned for modernizing the force and infrastructure has been eaten away by this corrupt congress government. And now because of lack of modern infrastructure all along the border with China, they lack capability.

I think we Indians deserve this. During 1998-2003 our former honorable minister Mr. Atal Bihari Bajpayee did a fabulous work towards growth of India, but people still chose this corrupt Congress, who right from after independence is sucking the money of the taxpayers.

50%-60% of India's population have education below class XII. Or in other words, illiteracy is the mantra in forming a government.

Remove Congress if we wanna see India to prosper in the long run.
