That's the point, the agreement is basically just an MOU, there is no obligation at all. They didn't say they will not offer you logistical support, they are telling you, they are not obligated to offer it by that agreement. When every agreement needs approval, it means it needs permission, get it genius. Singapore and US are sovereign nations, you don't just enter the territory of someone without permission. If they are not going to offer us logistical support, why did they sign the agreement ?
Every logistical agreement are subject to approval. So what ?
But fact is without that agreement, there is no logistical support. Even with permission.
LOL at your butt hurt.
As for Vietnam, the Vietnamese govt. has already offered us the the port of Nha Trang on the South China Sea with line-of-sight on Hainan Island for the Indian Navy’s exclusive use.
So far, its India that has said no. But that will change in the future.
Loss making now under incompetent management but you don't know it's full potential yet. The real fools are Indians buying over the airport which even we rejected.Yup, they have handed over the loss making and EMPTY port to the chinese for 99 years so that they can keep pouring in money and chase a fools errand.
Meanwhile they still control the port security and nothing can move in or out without their permission

Let me put it this way, with no agreement, definitely no logistical support, with an agreement, there might be logistical support.
Offered, may might, could, you should do it first then tell me you have a base in Vietnam. Even if you have a base there, so? You have every right to have a base there. You need to ask it's purpose and function. Is it a feel good base? A monitoring base? You are gonna spend millions and then what?

Very bad investment decision by India. $300 million for the empiest airport in the world which only handles 12 passengers a day. Outrageous.
I just found the article funny to read. It's late and I'm bored.
chinese are are top business men they will get their investments worth and more. dont worry indian pull your skirt back upYup, they have handed over the loss making and EMPTY port to the chinese for 99 years so that they can keep pouring in money and chase a fools errand.

If you want funny, then this will take the cake.If you want funny, then this will take the cake.
China paid 1.1 billion $ for a port that services 1-2 ship a month
And it costs 20 million $ a year to run the damn port.
And they cannot use it for servicing ANY naval ships or submarines.
Another like chabahar port wasted investment.
It's high IQ 82 logic. Simple as that. You can just bribe the SLankans, you don't need to pay 300mil$ and operate it at a loss @ 10mil$ per year to know any 'tourist' are coming in.
You don't need an airport to monitor a sea port, just use spy sats. it's cheaper. So everytime, we create some 'threat' and India will keep on burning cash? Such reactive geniuses.
It is only loss making because of incompetent management. I believe with proper Chinese management, the port is feasible, since 3 out of 10 major lines are from China. They will reroute to that port. Whether we can use it for uses for other reasons depends on the SLankans not an airport genius. Once Rajapaksa wins, we are in, else we just use it as a commercial entity, all strategic port China invested plays two roles, commercial and military. If the military portion is rejected, we proceed with the commercial portion. This is called strategic thinking not reactive thinking like you geniuses.
They are stupid period.chinese are are top business men they will get their investments worth and more. dont worry indian pull your skirt back up
If you want funny, then this will take the cake.
India is paying 300 million for an airport that manages to attract 12 passengers a day.
Modi-nomics

can you please back up your claims with proof that this sri lankan airport leased by India will be used by IAF in particular p-8i surveillance aircraft and drones ???Its an airport with a 3.4 KM long Runway and is located right next to the sea.
It can comfortably house the P-8I surveillance aircraft's and UAV's that will monitor the Indian ocean.
Not to mention, keep an eye on the port.
The airport itself is located on a 2000 Hectare land and has a aviation refueling terminal and will probably be taken on a 99 year lease.
Keep laughing
Oh it can be now yeah, nice back tracking typical indian. It CAN be used, IF china attempts to sneak in Naval ships into the Hambantota port. As such we already keep an eye on the Indian ocean from our various Naval bases in India and ANdaman islands.
I think we need to travel to Sri Lanka to help Indians increase the passenger count to 14 per day.Oh it can be now yeah, nice back tracking typical indian.
My point stands its an economic disaster paying 300 million for an airport which attracts 12 passengers per day.
Chinese deal for the port >>>>> Indian deal for an airport that has 12 users a day Modi-nomics
There is something called a spysat. It CAN be used, IF china attempts to sneak in Naval ships into the Hambantota port. As such we already keep an eye on the Indian ocean from our various Naval bases in India and ANdaman islands.
Have you seen anybody leasing an airport for 99 years? Just because China leases a port for 99 years, you need to follow us? Please have some critical thinking. You can't be reactive like a drone....Its an airport with a 3.4 KM long Runway and is located right next to the sea.

So as per you the "Logistics Exchange Memorandum of Agreement" is not really an "Agreement" but just an MOU ?
Another 'high iq' chinese post.
That port is loss making because NO ONE WANTS to berth there ........ it has nothing to do with "management". LOL.
Stop your endless whining and sobbing over your epic butt hurt. We can all see your humiliation, so stop pretending how lucky you are that India took over your airport. :lo:
