Hi Ganimikawa -Sorry to spoil the party, guys! But I'm not very excited with this report!
At least, most of the papers related to medical subjects( I've no authority to talk about others ) are pure crap! We manipulate and falsify data, we have very low impact value, high emphasis on statistical interpretations and less on exploration of new ideas!
We need quality more than quantity!
P.S. This problem is prevalent in almost all asian countries.
P.P.S. Added specially for ChinaRocks :
" Chinese medical papers are considered equally Sh***y in the academic world. Chinese govt. health data is notoriously inaccurate. I remember reading a few phony ones after the chinese melamine milk deaths."
"We are in this s**t together. And we must get out of it! "
I dont agree with you completely, so on the bolded part.
1. I guess the only thing we do and get highlighted for is quality. Look at defence, you have examples like Arjun, LCA to name a few. In all
meterials we concentrate more on quality than quantity.
I mean that's our bench mark. Not only defence but in every product.
