Looks Like India is always sitting on the fence. When the US gives India a carrot India will suck on it and ignore everyone else. India is like that kid in school who is indecisive and never able to make a decision or choice on what sports to play or which fad to join. Iran being friends with India is like being friends with someone one day and never seeing them again the next. Iran of course learned that being friends with China/Russia is the only way forward towards long term prosperous future as those two countries have supported Iran in the UNSC through thick and thin. Countries remember their friends and return the favour in kind. India just sits on the fence and wants to be a bystander.

This is not even an issue.. am amazed Iranian members are getting hyper over this... and few even call it a shift in India's policy... really ?

Both India and Iran has lot to gain from this strategic partnership in the long term.. am sure and I really hope that the Iranian diplomats are not thinking like what we see in this forum. .. its time to keep calm and maintain the trust.

Its a non-issue, will be resolved when the two sides meets.
India values its true friends and always supports them whenever in they are in trouble and Iran is one of our true friends in the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.

6.5 billion still outstanding....plus now Iran raise the question of rate of interest on delayed payments. India is trying to sell something in exchange of cash, but Iran in dire need of cash in banks.
