If today muslims 're thriving in India then it is because our government made sure muslims (and other minorities) in India got equal (if not more) voice to raise their issues. We already have world's third largest muslim population, and 2050 we might have the largest muslim population. Your prediction would then go for a six.

JIND: A leader of Hindu Mahasabha today stoked a controversy saying Muslims and Christians must undergo sterilisation to restrict their growing population which was posing a threat to Hindus.

"The population of Muslims and Christians is growing day by day. To rein in this, Centre will have to impose emergency, and Muslims and Christians will have to be forced to undergo sterilisation so that they can't increase their numbers," vice president of All India Hindu Mahasabha, Sadhvi Deva Thakur told reporters here.

She also exhorted Hindus to have more children and increase their population so as to have an effect on the world. In another controversial remark, she said idols of Hindu gods and goddesses should be placed in mosques and churches. Thakur also came out strongly in support of installing a statue of "patriot" Nathuram Godse in Haryana.

Ah, Mademoiselle; I can now discern one thing...... that you are able to see..... while others are content to only look.

Actually you have turned the spotlight on one FACT. How and why a particular Community (which carries the moniker of a Minority) has been able to grow (in both numbers and a percentage) while Minorities in the neighborhood; have shrunk and very drastically at that. Any reasons for that?

On our side of the border; it had to do with many things, not least of all... attempting to deal with "man-made contaminants" which can contaminate anything and everything!
But have those attempts been successful? Not yet! Dealing with "man-made contamination" is never easy. Simply because Men can scarcely want to recognise or understand that side of the problem.

That said; nothing is perfect especially that which is made by Humans; so the upheavals must and will continue.
