However, building i jet is not as simple as adding x + y to get z.

AMCA has input from Russia, just like PAKFA-T50. Developing means a lot more than CAD drawings.

If India had 'everything' to build a 5th gen aircraft, it would be well underway. Unfortunately, India was complaining how Russia is withholding tech know how in the PAKFA program..........now why would India even go to Russia, if it had everything? LCA took 30 years, lets see how long this takes.
