exactly. I really wonder if they even read about simla agreement means. This was the agreement signed by pak PM for Indian armed force to retreat. And we'll thank no need for friendship from Pakistan . And India can manage any misadventures . We will keep our region in peace . Now they been cornered from all sides. No one cares about pakistan any more . Even in SAARC . Their only hope is China. But I really wonder if China have guts to fight a gain less war for pakistan.

We dont need to take revenge against them.Just ignorethem and their friendship calls.Chinese are just a business men and they will do anything for profit.

Because BJP government has start asking Pakistan to return the Azad Kashmir before talk to start same thing has been said by home minister to China on Aksai chin also.
Coming months will be lot of drama on these issue...........

Man, we are much better than you.............. Last 10 years you have killed more than 70,000 people in your country because Shia do not like Sunni, Islamabad hate balochis and every body hate north Pakistan. First get your own country in order then talk to us about Kashmir.

Same desperation and repeated statements like stuck tape recorder. I always thought there can be a fruitful discussion with Pakistan government on Kashmir, but I was wrong. They are all same. No talks can be held with them.

Islamabad: Pakistan today said India has no "choice" other than implementing the UN resolutions on the Kashmir issue and demanded an "impartial plebiscite".

"In any case, the UN Security Council resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir were accepted by India as well. They are relevant and applicable. Hence it is not a matter of choice," said Foreign Office spokeswoman Tasnim Aslam.

Pakistan firmly believes that the final disposition of the Jammu and Kashmir issue should be in accordance with the will of the Kashmiri people, to be determined through a free and impartial plebiscite under the UN auspices, as enshrined in relevant Security Council Resolutions," she said.

Aslam said Kashmir issue remains on the agenda of the UN Security Council and the UN observers are present on the Line of Control and in the two countries.

"This unresolved issue remains the root cause of tension between Pakistan and India, and it's just resolution is of paramount importance for ensuring peace, stability and development in the region," she said.
The spokeswoman said there were various measures and steps through which this dispute is highlighted and "we remain engaged with the UN both in New York and in Geneva".

She also mentioned the speech of Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during the UN General Assembly annual meeting and
termed it a manifestation of highlighting the Kashmir issue at the UN forum.
She said Pakistan welcomes the statement by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, offering his good offices, to assist in resolving the long outstanding issue of Kashmir, if requested by both India and Pakistan.
"The Secretary General's statement regarding the need to associate the people of Jammu and Kashmir in the process, while respecting their rights, is deeply appreciated."

Aslam said Pakistan remains committed to a sustained, unconditional and result-oriented dialogue with India, to discuss all outstanding issue, including the core issue of Kashmir.

She refused to answer a question about the reported 300 conversions of Muslims in India by saying that since they were just press reports, she needed to check this information.

India doesn't give much relevance to the U.N.. U.N. has lost its credibility anyway.Its only the countries with the bucks which matter and are the real players at the U.N.. If u do not have the money no matter how much you whine at the UNGA they will have two hoots for you!! The U.N. needs immediate reforms but even then it would not be able to make up for the lost ground. . . . The U.N. has become more of a ceremonial body and relevant only as far as welfare programs are concerned.

And that's coming from Super Rich Pakistan... plz first look at your countries track record with economy and persecution of Minorities and terrorists attacks and then talk about India. Ya you're right Kishmiris will stand up for theri rights.. they even showed their signs by registering 72%+ votes and accepted the democracy in spite of Pakistan supported terror threats or telling them not to vote....

You would be surprised to hear that among Pakistan's diplomatic corps, the Kashmir issue is very rarely spoken off behind closed doors. The public push is more for their constituencies back home.

Frankly, when dealing with the US counterparts, and I was present in the room on several such occasions, they are cognizant of the realities of a plebiscite ever taking place.

And for those who may still have some doubts, let me assure you that there is absolutely no desire among any of those on the security council( including China), to find a way to enforce UN resolutions in this matter.

The biggest fear of the esteemed Pakistani diplomats I've engaged with, is getting the Pakistani economic wheels churning because they foremost fear a military coup.
