India does have plans to annex the orange marked regions of Bangladesh in the near future and is augmenting its armed forces and paramilitary forces in the Bengal, Assam and Tripura to do just this.

We are gathering strength in this region so that 1 million Indian troops will soon be positioned to attack along six points along the India-Bangladesh border.

India wants to annex the Rangpur region on the top left corner in order to expand the chicken's neck and facilitate accessibility to the Eastern states of India.

India wants to annex the Khulna region so that the whole of the Sundarbans lies within India.

India want to annex the Sylhet region so that illegal Bangladeshi migrants to Assam can be settled there and it wants to distribute the tea estates of Sylhet between the people of Assam and Meghalaya.

India wants to capture the entire Chittagong region so that the people of the Eastern states will now have a port to trade their goods to South East Asia and this will help the economy of the Eastern States of India.

We fully sympathise with you and hope that India respects the Bangladeshi boundries and stay away from interference

Then why is india building the world's largest border fence along your border if it warns to annex bangladesh ? you guys are thinking us like some super duper power like USA or Russia hahaa .

. . . .
Indian Hindus will never dare to do that. If BD and PK back to the union Muslim will certainly start shoving beef into Hindus mouth for sure.

The truth is India is slowly converting BD into a sweat-shop for her industries. Indian economic invasion of BD has already penetrated deep. So has cultural invasion. Indian invasion/subjugation of BD is moving according to what has been taught in their textbook, The Arthashastra.

Nobody has forced you to have economic relations with India

And Realistically speaking WHAT CHOICE do you have

China is very far away and your other neighbour is Myanmar

.
There is no doubt that, because of this wet wet dream of yours whole Bangladesh will be occupied territory of India.

@ And people like @bongbang will be very happy and will say, " Esho mor dada !" " Me tu kab ki tiar hoy kar bethi hu ".

Pre-71 Pak economy was far far better than India's. And that was mainly for our jute. Therefore, the first target of Indian economic invasion was our jute industries. That's just one example.

its not as if India has thriving jute industry, is it possible that they felt market forces? Why use jute if plastic can do same.( I know jute is more sustainable but market forces dont work like that).

Don't take it the wrong way. Just asking out of curiosity. How's jute industry doing now? Does it contribute significantly to BD economy?

@ Bangladesh does have a master plan to cut the Siliguri Corridor and direct link with China on the North. Soon 1 x Commando Battalion will be raised at Thakurgaon. In 1965 war Pakistan Army placed 1 x Commando Company at Thakurgaon to dislodged the Silliguri Corridor.

@ We are planning to annex Assam with Bangladesh in near future. The Muslim population in Assam is increasing at a rapid speed. Nobody can stop it, it will be inevitable.

@ There is a great possibility that Trippura might also merge with greater Bangladesh ?

This could be the unfulfilled dream of Pakistan but bangladezh don't have any power to cut Indian neck neither it's mandatory. Though if we join siligury corridor with US it will help not just Bangladesh but Nepal Bhutan.

@ During those days specially during the Korean War (1952-54) Raw jute were widely used. Jute were mainly used in the following manners in military :
1. Jute were used as a sand bag for defensive purposes.
2. Hassen cloths made of jute were used for making underground command post or any other dug in post. These
hassen cloths were used for fixing on the side walls of dug in post.
3. Raw Jute were used as Camouflaged nets.
4. Raw jute were also used as a raw material in gun powder. People says that raw jutes is smokeless.
5. Besides raw jutes were widely used as a bag for carrying sugar, rice, wheat or any other purposes.

@ So, during fifties and sixties the demand of raw jute so high that Pakistan govt had to make a separate Port at Mongla in Khulna.

@ After our independence the demand of jute in the world market reduced a lot but we hope considering environmental impact the demand of raw jute and finish product will soon rise.

There are funny threads and then there are the really funny ones. This takes the cake! Why the heck would India want to annex Bangladesh? India certainly will help BD where needed but had enough problems already and don't need more
