What's new

India gets its first indigenous stealth frigate

Engines are license produced. If you want to call something a copy its fine. They are not imported however.

If you want to compare indigenization levels by dragging in China you're going to lose.

So can we call our Su-30 MKI indigenous for which starting from the last bolt till the Engines are built in India. ?

Mrs Fezna,
I can understand your curiosity. On behalf of all the
Indian members I am making
a humble request infront of
You.
Please provide details of PAKISTAN'S CONTRIBUTION ON JF-17 . If you are providing
This,we will be happy!

.
The second ship ie INS Satpura will be inducted this year. It should have been ready by now. Whats the point of delay I can't understand while the lead ship was inducted year ago!

.
Why not. License production is not indigenous and we agree to it. Why dont you agree to it on your ships ?

We do. Just for the engines however. We are not capable of producing modern high powered marine engines. We do however have back up with steam engines. Not as good but still workable.

Weapons must be made in house however.
