Fact is Pakistan does not import oil from next door Iran for many years.

China can handle it easily because there's plenty of alternate sellers on the market. india too will find new suppliers but it's a bigger loss considering the fact that you lose Iran.

Bizzarely, this will lead to increase in Iranian oil in Pakistan. As pressure mounts on Iran they will begin to flog oil at knock down prices which will boost smuggling across Iran/Pak border.

Iranian oil has been smuggled into Pakistan for decades. The supply will get even cheaper now.

If for instance US attacked Iran you can bet KSA, UAE, Qatar etc will give their bases for US military. So would India if asked. Only Pakistan or Turkey would decline.

The funny part in all this is Indians will end up getting the extra oil from Saudia Arabia, UAE. The simple reason being their oil is very similiar to Iranian oil which means the Indian refineries do not require major re-jigging. Apparently it is not easy changing input oil to a refinery as it requires changing the refinery systens.

This might explain why MBS and Modi have been chilling real close lately.

It’s been known for a while that India were going to cut import from Iran to 0.

Forget about India and read her tweet again. She claims sales in may reached because none of Irans customers gave purchase orders.

1. She doesnt have access to this information, so its only based on her pulling this out from her ***.

2. This means that even China and Turkey not to mention SYRIA stopped importing oil from us. I did not know Syria was afraid of US sanctions. Damn.
