The BCCI is only exercising its power that it has like any other board or any organism would do in such circumstances. Don't whine because the BCCI has all this power and others (PCB) has next to none.


The BCCI is only taking advantage of the situation that it has been allowed to fester.

BCCI seems to be saying Either my way or highway... not much choice left for ICC or any other cricket boards.

Having said that... I personally would have liked BCCI to adopt DRS system. This will certainly benefit India as much as others.

Indeed India should adopt DRS when it is proven a reliable system.... Right now it doesn't account, Wind patterns, Pitch surface variations, Ball surface, effects of turbulence, angular velocity to determine spin levels, moisture content in the ball adding to weight, shape variation of a used ball, variation of surface hardness of the pitch....

Imagine the same loop and same trajectory and same spot of pitch for two bowlers (anil kumble and shane warne)....... will the result be the same for both the bowlers?

You forgot to mention aerodynamics of the cricket ball bruv..

Coming back to the topic.. yes! It's not 100% full proof. Just watching the game between ZA & PK... & could see some DRS blunders. Then again.. it gets most things right than human umpires..
