I am sure Pakistan is working on the air to ground version of Babur cruise missile and F-16s, J-10, and JF-17s will be able to carry it.

As of now i think only A-5s and F-16s can carry it. Babur cruise missile can be miniturized to fit under the fuselage.

heard of the private sector offering ANDV? it is being fitted at KArachi. few months down the road it will be the first missle proof city of the world.

Any aircraft would only be easier to take down!!

detection / interception systems have no reason to stay on the ground -- in fact some of them CANT!!! the entire idea of cruise missles is to stay out of line of sight: yet they loose just that when its time to matter.

i think if war begins Indians piolts will have not much courage to penetrate deeply in PAK airspace and tehn attempts to attack ground targets with BRAHAMOS even when J10s JF17s will be air bourne

There is no match to Su30MKI in Asia right now. This is 4.5 generation aircraft. all others have is 4th generation. There is a huge thread in this forum (JF17 Vs Su30MKI). Search.

What i can tell u is this, back in 1999 i completed a proposal "ODA" : optical defence aparatus. The americans bought it and intend to deploy it by 2012. Beam weapons are happening, they r our PRESENT -- not future.

Pakistan's apparatus won't remain a secret for too long either -- basically once they move from testing to deployment.

'we' did not! two different groups of buyers took it under the guise that they were 'taliban' and 'Pakistan' respectively -- no money -- neither transfer was a purchase -- it was a donation each time. Yet each of taliban and Pakistan clearly do not have it: and it has shown foot prints in the US-DoD.

learning more would require military class detention and interrogation of a few individuals that could provide leads. Some of these characters are actually even civilian 'non-bailable' criminals -- but then where is law enforcement in Pakistan?!

The irony is that I have repeatedly put it in front of islamabad, now even shifting it to DIYs, asking my students to make such a thing themselves -- yet somehow Islamabad remains too busy to quest such a thing. Can you imagine a civilian classroom where students are briefed on how to nuke-proof their country? happened at NIDA Lahore quite recently!!
