Incredible india will truely be great when its people stop trying so hard to be incredible. Methinks the lady protesteth too much is a phrase that would apply to incredible india today. These insecurities will take timee to overcome.

yes, and "protestors" that set up roadblocks, used grenades on military vehicles, and killed 50 soldiers is totally peaceful?

Roadblocks is inevitable in such situations. And can you please provide proof that is not Chinese for using grenades and killings of 50 soldiers?

Even if EVERYTHING what you just said was true, it is still more peaceful than couple of people picking up weapons and burning WHOLE OF PUNJAB. and talking about separation [Though there was no support from the common man otherwise there would have been genuine protests and riots like Tiananmen square and couldn't even have been oppressed.].

Plus why forget cultural revolution and tiretan uprising in 1060s?

I didnt mention pakistan. i didnt say Indai was insecure cos pakistan has nukes in fact I didnt mention nukes, But the fact that you mention Pakistan without promting shows that your obsessed with pakistan. You mention the nukes unpromted cos you are scared. any psycholgist reading your post and my post would come to the conclusions just by reading 4 posts here that you reek insecurity are obsessed with pakistan and scared of pakistani nukes. I rest my case

Honestly , i don't understand how these rankings matter to India , our greater threats are internal rather than external (say for a country like Israel)

Wow a thread about India being powerful, and this thread has 13 pages already.

Just shows, how many people are burning from this news.

Well thats one interpretation you might well put to this. I couldnt possibly comment about incrdible india. If it makes you happy mate to put this interpretation. thats great

the diff between blue star and tiananmen square is that tiananmen square guys were innocent students and protesting unarmed , and the operation blue star was led by sikhs brainwashed and provoked by your bloody dearest ally pakistan . check ur gk level and tell me . go back to history and read it care fully

Sure!!

The "Tiananmen Square massacre" is constantly referred to. Why have I never seen film or video footage of a single death? The cameras were there, were they not? | Notes and Queries | guardian.co.uk

ONE PHOTOGRAPH was published in Granta which clearly showed two mutilated bodies. They were, however, those of two Chinese soldiers, hanging from a burnt-out bus in Tiananmen Square.

The government tried to disperse the crowd by the equally peaceful method of persuasion, then by sending in unarmed police. Finally, in exasperation, the army were called in, but the demonstrators chose to instigate violence. Video films clearly show a demonstrator throwing a Molotov cocktail at the first personnel carrier to enter the square.

Tiananmen Square protests of 1989 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Yuan Mu, the spokesman of the State Council, said that about 300 soldiers and civilians died, including 23 students from universities in Beijing, along with a number of people he described as "ruffians".[citation needed] According to Chen Xitong, Beijing mayor, 200 civilians and several dozen soldiers died.[94][95

As for Cultural Revolution, that was a true people's revolution. Not 1 Red Guard was a soldier or police. They were true believers in communism.

What's wrong with Punjabis calling for their freedom? Why are you suppressing the right of Punjabis to self determination?
