NEW DELHI: India fears that the reemergence of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Maulana Masood Azhar in Pakistan, after years of hibernation, can be an alleged ploy by Islamabad's security establishment to revive its "strategic assets" to boost cross-border infiltration strategy in Kashmir and take advantage of vacuum that will be created after withdrawal of international troops from Afghanistan later this year Officials in India's diplomatic and security establishments who are closely monitoring the activities of Azhar after his recent vitriolic remarks do not rule out a bigger strategy of Pakistan's Army behind these remarks. According to MEA Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin Azhar, is a leader of a terror organization that is banned not only by India but also by US, UN and Pakistan itself "Therefore, as far as we are concerned, once is one too many times," Akbaruddin said, reacting to Pakistan's statement that Azhar's comments were an "one time event".Echoing similar sentiments, another government official told ET that this could be part of Pak Army's strategy to boost infiltration strategy to push in more terrorists from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu & Kashmir during the coming summer months. There is a spurt in infiltration attempts into J & K from across the border every summer as the snow melts, the official alleged. The government is also trying to analyse if the Pak Army-ISI is trying to revive their "strategic assets" like Azhar who has remained dormant for years. "Azhar cannot suddenly become active without the support of the Pakistani security establishment. It also appears from this that the Pakistan's civilian government and political class and its Army are working at cross-purposes vis-a-vis India. The civilian government has been extending olive branches but the Army is sending a different signal as was evident from repeated ceasefire violations along LoC last year," a senior official claimed.

OK, let Masood come here. This time the security forces must not take Prisoner. Then only Mr. Ripan Katyal's soul will get peace.

Yesterday seven of his militants were sent to hell. It was an open invitation to him. I hope he will accept our invitation and come with lots of his men and we will do some khatirdari. Hehe

Azhar will do well to focus on liberating whole of pakistan rather than Kashmir if he doesn't want to be a part of target practice of IA.
