It is the Russians that provided the expertise and technical assistance in building the Arihant, you didn't know how to build the submarine yourself despite your false claims, and the false claims your defense industry and Navy makes about the Arihant being built by India all by itself.

Yes I know that yes we need to pay tax but we need to also control corruption and we can't with for our economy to improve if we can take money from some friendly countries or ask them to pay for defense deals that could help and in mean while also work on economy because Army has lot of things new ones to but Air Force and Navy need new fighter jets and warships and submarines in really huge numbers to at least maintain minimum defense level with India

Absolutely no comparison b/w Pakistan Navy and Indian Navy. But why only half of Indian submarines are operational??? Why is that?? Yes when India is gonna acquire another half a dozen Scorpion class subs, it would be a tremendous boost but the point is India need to acquire or to build much more if India want to preserve its interests in the Indian Ocean against China. Because China is going way ahead with all its naval warfare capabilities. I think India should have at least 25 conventional Subs plus couple of nuclear ones all in operational condition, if they want to have firm grip in Indian Ocean.....

India build the arihant in India itself . The Russian assistance was limited to certain areas and was openly acknowledged by the Indian PM itself .

Not only that, the Agosta 90B's were probably old technology when acquired. And the deal on Chinese subs is nowhere to be seen, but if that ever happens or the deal with Germany then that will tilt the equation in favour of Pakistan.

Out of 13, 3 have gone for overhaul which will take 2-3 years while in remaing 10, only 7-8 submarines can be operational at any given time in normal conditions. We have a requirement of minimum 19 submarines (including nuclears and ssks) and maximum 24 submarines. Our nuclear program is going well but our conventional sub force is in pathetic state and will remain same till scorpenes and other 6 subs inducted which will take a good 10-12 years to get that 19 submarine figure.
