Lets be honest, if there was going to be a nuclear war, 4 or 5 bombs at most are enough to wipe out all of Asia. Makes no sense to make any more nukes.

I think it has a metaphorical meaning. Those two bombs made Japan surrender to Allies right? Objective achieved.

Pakistanis are under this belief that if they keep making more nukes, it would stall an invasion from those countries affected by terrorism planned from within Pakistani borders.

It won't. Instead, when the country comes crumbling down, there will be multiple lawless holders of nuclear weapons in the region.

I am sure that you wouldn't want a Pre-2001 Afghanistan like tiny "countries" armed with nukes all around.

As such Asia is becoming tense.

Those were 20 KT bombs. Today we have over 200 KT bombs. And there's a difference between Japan and countries like India and Pakistan.

Japanese are way more hardworking ad have much more technological, and economic resources at their disposal compared to India and Pakistan.

Pakistan has 3 major cities, Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi. 2 bombs each of 200 KT will be enough to destroy it. India has an advantage of scattered population. India has around 20-30 cities. If they get bombed, we're in stone age too.

The biggest difference is that US dropped just 2 bombs to stop the war. India and Pakistan would use all their stockpile to destroy each other.

No its not !! at present when uranium based reactors have reached5th generation ,thorium still lags behind........hene its expensive

But Thorium based reactors are

1] more safer
2] stabler
3] Cleaner with less radioactive waste.......................

The bomba now are 1000 or more times powerful than the japanese ones...hence.....2 large bombs will throw enough dust into the atmosphere for darkeningthe skies and radioactive particles !!!
