Guys, please kindly stick to the topic! The topic has nothing to do with Pakistan.
True that so far only democratic countries collapes, such as Iceland, likely ones as Greece, never for non-democratic countries, even very poor ones, such as N Korea or Cuba.
But I won’t give it a damn thing that India’s collapse is imminent. More, India is impossible to collapse so far. India is not Iceland, nor Greece. Elephant is very different from the two PIGS:
1) Iceland and Greece are highly developed countries. Their human rights are well protected, and their democracies are healthy and mature. It is impossible, or otherwise very difficult, to cut down workers’ benefits to repair the economy. India is in none of the positions: no respectable human rights, not a society ruled by laws and orders but nepotism. India can transit through the crises by starving death to more outcastes and slashing more public education funds, for instance.
2) Iceland’s main means to earn hard currency is through tourism, and Greece is very similar, though better. India is nonetheless in a much better position. “Iron, chrome, lead, copper and zinc ores are the most important metals exported to China in terms of size and total export share, ranging from 80% up to 100%.”
india's export to china is not diverse As long as China is still moving forward, the needs for those ores will not stop. (How clownish are some Indians longing for collapse of China. LOL!
) Devaluation of Indian currency will only make those exports more competitive.
Believe at this news, many Chinese importers are more jubilant than their brothers in the forum, of course for very different reasons.
3) India has lots black markets that are not regulated and less prone to Rupee values, more like primitive goods exchange market. The impact would be minimal.
You guys believe or not, I think India will move on,
NOT COLLAPES, maybe in a little bit different ways.

Edit to add this: collapes of India is not good for none countries in SA, Asia, even the world. Its lack of capability to buy weapons might be good news to the peace of SA and the world.
