Featured India faced expulsion from Iran's Chabahar project due to its wrong policies: FM Qureshi

I think you posted this in wrong section. Please post this in "Stupid and Funny" section.

On Topic - This news is already debunked by many sources from both India & Iran, India is going forward with this rail project.

Ok

SMQ is poor foreign policy driver. One should not put your friend in awkward position (read Iran) by overtly saying its machinations out like that.

Diplomacy is a subtle art but SMQ is anything but subtle. He claimed huge victories at UN and OIC against India for nothing more than a courteous meeting on Kashmir with no outcome not even a presser. He is counting in Bangladesh in its support when all he got to show was a courteous call between two leaders. Did Bangladesh make a statement even on this?

Sahabzada Yaqub Khan and Hina Rabbani Khar were the best foreign ministers of Pakistan.

are you trying to teach hypocrisy to the Pakistanis?

can someone explain what is Central Asia going to sell India that cannot be gotten on the international market ?
Better read India's obsessive foreign policy towards Central Asia countries. Central Asia emerged as an essential economic linkage between continents. Rich with deposits of natural mineral resources like uranium ore, hydrocarbon deposits, and vast hydropower potentials made the region of great significance and prime attention of big and regional powers. India, as one of the players, took keen interests in the region. New Delhi's significant concerns with the Central Asian Republics' trade, investment, infrastructure development, and energy.
Unlike India, China shares long borders with three Central Asian states: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. Due to its growing military, economic, and defense cooperation with Central Asia, China has become a threat to India's ambitions in the region. While China has advanced its efforts to build its new silk road, India is still struggling to capitalize on its potential role in Central Asia. It lags behind both Russia and China in terms of trade and security cooperation. That is why India does not see Iran rail link or chabbar project or stay in afghanistan is fruitful (simple economics logic how much India sells vs spend in those landlock countries)to compete directly with Russia and China.

But Iran went and confided in Pakistan...Pakistan, the one that has not the cash nor the influence to even be part of the project?
FMQ must have some solid ESP...clearly no Iranian bothered to tell him lol

So Pakistan has no cash & India has all the cash still India failed to complete the project & linger Iran to a point where they had to throw you off the project. Where is FM wrong in saying it was Indian policies which placed India out of the project?

Crooked bhaniyas have been exposed globally... First it was the US that cut the h1b program after rampant fraud, now even the iranians have figured out how two faced these bhaniyas are.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Thursday said India faced "expulsion by Iran in Chabahar project due to its wrong policies", adding that the country had "gradually strained" its relations with all its neighbours — Pakistan, China, Nepal and Bangladesh.
In a statement, Qureshi said India was spoiling its relations due to a “Hindutva mindset”. “The so-called impression of a ‘Shining India’ is over now owing to incumbent government’s policies of hatred and bias,” he added.

Earlier this month it emerged that Iran had dropped India from the Chabahar rail project citing delayed finances.

The railway project, which was being discussed between the Iranian Railways and the state-owned Indian Railways Construction Ltd (IRCON), was meant to be part of India’s commitment to the trilateral agreement between India, Iran and Afghanistan to build an alternative trade route to Afghanistan and Central Asia.

India is also set to lose an ambitious gas field project in the country that had been in the pipeline for the past 10 years.

India's Ministry of External Affairs in a statement said that Tehran would develop the Farzad-B gas field in the Persian Gulf region "on its own" and might engage India "appropriately at a later stage".

Regarding Pakistan's relations with Bangladesh, the minister said Pakistan wanted to maintain good bilateral ties by "forgetting bitterness of past and moving towards a good future".

UNGA president to visit Pakistan
The foreign minister also said that the president-elect of the United Nations General Assembly, Ambassador Volkan Bozkir, is due to visit Pakistan on Monday.

Qureshi said he would present to Bozkir Pakistan's position on Indian occupied Kashmir, which he said was suffering the "worst human rights situation" in the world.

The foreign minister said that he would also inform Bozkir about the atrocities committed by the Indian Army in occupied Kashmir.

Qureshi termed the visit of foreign media journalists to the Line of Control (LoC) in Chirikot sector a day earlier "an important step" in this regard. The journalists, he said, were escorted by the military to the region to witness the plight of residents living along the frontier.

Qureshi said the journalists had been invited by Pakistan to "show them the double standards of India".

"Will India follow suit and allow independent media to visit the occupied valley?" he questioned, adding that India was also "restricting movement of UN-deployed observers to hide the truth".

According to the Foreign Office, India has committed 1,697 ceasefire violations this year to date, resulting in 14 deaths and serious injuries to 133 civilians.

Now what?
A fool embarassing himself.
Let it be clear .
We can do whatever we want and get away without any issue.
And donot bring Nepal,BD in to this issue.
Take it from here India is not going to change its new policies because our new abilities demanded more reponsibilities .
And for Pakistan better mind their own business.

If India mend her ways and get her house in order, Pakistan can bring her out of isolation.

What do you have your own?
Nothing .Right?
India is playing her games at entirely different level.
Pakistan is not even a pawn in that game

So Pakistan has no cash & India has all the cash still India failed to complete the project & linger Iran to a point where they had to throw you off the project. Where is FM wrong in saying it was Indian policies which placed India out of the project?

Please read the quote below in its entirety.
apparently, the FM claims that it’s the “Hindutva” mindset and NOT the delay in starting work on the project (which is the main reason for this separation) as the precursor to India’s exclusion from the project.
So wonder how the FM has come to this conclusion, Because if you read the follow up news posted on this very thread, the Iranian official clarified the reason as being the delays.
So yeah, FMQ is applying his own Mirch masala to a pretty benign commercial decision.

And yet Pakistan is the iron brother of the crooks that just had their consulate forced into closure due to direct accusations of theft and spying.
Apply the same logic, since the h1b program cut exposes India’s fraudulent behavior, what does that say about Your dear iron daddy?

Again what is wrong with this statement? If he thinks that it is Hindutava mindset then he could be correct in that as well. Can we deny that your govt is not Hindutava? no we all know that it is Hindutava. now look at Iran? why is Iran against Israel? For the similar policies that is how Iran looks at things as well & it could be the case Iran see Hindutava against humanity.

by that logic immaculate conception is also possible, one would think no?
Jesus is real, the Bible is real, so the immaculate conception must be real?

I have no objection to FMQ having his opinion on why, but we will look to the Iranians for their statement as being the party with skin in the game.

FMQ on the other hand “behti Ganga mein Haat dho raha hai” since clearly the Iranians didn’t tell him that. Iranian opinion is on record. End of story in my book.

Quereshi should stick to facts, not opinions.

Lol.
This fellows claim has been debunked by Iranian Railway chief himself. Infact Iran also said vested interests were behind claims that Iran remove India from Zahedan-Chabahar rail:
http://irandailyonline.ir/News/271804.html
Dont deny that "FRIENDLY" India stalled on Brotherly Iran...i dunno if India low key saw Iran as an Islamic state to be "cautious" with, but we know India stalled on Iran...from stalling on juicy huge oil blocks...to control of Chabahar(US even gave you guys a sanctions waiver for it!) and doing nothing with it...India really messed up...and like i've said before, Iran controls India's access and policy to Afghanistan, because India cant get that through Pakistan. Act fast and move on things...time has come, and things have now changed...Iran needs a serious business partner and China stepped up at the right time, the right way.

FM statement is in accordance with how Iran act to regimes which are against Muslims. You can't blame FM on this. cause in India we have a anti Muslim regime & Iran has a history of acting against anti Muslim regimes. Iran shares no border with Israel but has went through a life time of sanctions why just cause of their stance against Israel & similar is the case I think with India it is simple as that. This is not rocket science to understand, it sits well with Iranian policy.

you are free to come to any conclusion as is FMQ. Opinions are a dime a dozen
But the article in the OP itself says clearly the reason for the separation and credits it to Iran.
So going beyond that is a metal stretch from FMQ. Not unheard of, actually quite expected.

Still What ever way you put it or how you want to accept the reality FM has a very valid point. For you failing to understand it could be result of your knowledge about Iran.
