This is why I am glad Pakistan has no space program. I mean even Brazil, France, Germany, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Nordic countries never did this, and they're much richer than us. So why on Earth should we?

You can also see a number of Pakistanis also believing the "desi liberal" class of Pakistanis consisting of mostly elite class Muhajirs and Sindhis praising India & Bangladesh.

China achieved because they aimed for sustainability. The one-child policy did wonders for them, even if it had minor collateral damage.

They are still much too better off with it than without it. They would have been a badly undeveloped country if not for population control.

They also achieved much better gender equality and better law & order. Their population control policies were the biggest contribution to the environment alone.

First , Even though these countries have not sent rockets to the moon or sun they have been spending much more on space than India, especially Japan which spends billions. (I think Japan had a Venus mission which failed)

Second, why should it matter to us how India spends its money? They have not asked us to subsidize them.

Third, they also have a nascent private space industry (start ups) on the back of the public one, which may well bring billions into the country in future.

Fourth, again its their money.

It's their money but how they spend it should not serve as "inspiration" for us is the point. Their rockets succeeded where the Russian Federation's failed.

But which is a better country overall? The Russian Federation of course. Much less poverty, much better infrastructure, education amongst so many other things.

Okay so Japan and other more developed countries spend more. Well they can afford it. They have much better living conditions than India.

Their people enjoy much better conditions than India. Try to understand my point.

Their economy is much bigger than Britain's and that why their media claimed there's no need to send them money when they got trillions.

If they were were smart enough, they would divert this money into population control and sustainability. We should not be thinking of a space program for Pakistan.

Probably not in our lifetimes.

Pakistanis by nature are pus*ies and kind hearted. All this congratulating the next pajeets makes my stomach turn. The Indian is bitter still from 1947 and hasn’t moved on. He plans and plans to bring lands that he thinks are his back into the pajeet lands. I swear I will pray that a mini nuke hits GHQ for putting Pakistan in this position. As mentioned earlier they have several private space start ups that could bring in billions in the near term future ( I think one of them is headed by a young Muslim man in his early thirties). When and if these start ups begin earning money, we will be sitting here cussing our elite for lack of foresight.

Other spins offs include their own homegrown gps, especially useful during war time. Agricultural and climate prediction etc. etc. Space research is a technology multiplier.

Russia's space mission failed because of all the sanctions against them. Russia is a country on the descendant, India whether we like it or not, is on the ascendant.

India, because of the size of their population does a lot of things at a lower per capita income level than other countries, including democracy, however flawed. I don't think there is a single other country with such a low level of per capita income that holds competitive elections decade after decade. It is some magic of large numbers.

Pakistan cannot have a space program right now because we simply haven't got the will or the trained human resources at this point. If that changes in ten or twenty years, we should spend the money, especially if it is just 1 cent per member of the population like they do in India. it will be a huge money maker, technological game changer and a soft and hard power multiplier...all of which leads to increased standard of living for the everyday person. .... I sincerely hope that we get to that stage some day, though way things are going currently, I am not holding my breath.

We have nationwide ration distribution network in every city and village, govt gives ration card to every poor family they are given ration free every 15 days .After certain quantity they can purchase ration on subsidised rates .

I don't see that happening. The Russian Federation's economy is doing quite well actually and it's probably because the sanctions slowed down it's growth so it's actually effective.

Any prosperous economy will grow and decline rather than growing so rapidly and inflating.

Why do you need resources from the moon? Is it because they're less available on Earth? That is not the answer. Preservation is the answer. Sustainability is the answer.
