India Developing, but still a long way to go

Mr nair,

Pl do not quote some people unless they ask you to quote. You quote them with good intension but they not only insult you but insults india as well. Ignore those people.

My house location is unique. It has long stretches of field extending hundreds of meters. There are many high rises. 7 shopping complexes in 200 m from my house. It has cannal of water passing from the area having wide roads on both sides. A very unique location. My office is at a place where river meets the sea.

Is that basically a new canal and a highway shown?

Highway which leads to Amaravati.Currently 4 lane highway and expandable to 8 lanes in future. Not a canal

Plan for future.8 lanes + metro and brts in the middle + cycle track on both sides+ walking track on both sides.Very good planning for future, designed by planners from Singapore with Vastu kept in mind

Among the 1'st mass public cities in the world from scratch, only Navi Mumbai (Bombay Extention1), Islamabad (Greater Rawalpindi?), comes to mind somewhat with mass rapid rail system or good roads but then India/Pak. were still a poor so Arab Gulf countries leapfrogged and retro-fitted fast growing cities like Dubai with effective middle class infrastructure like public infra. like parks, open public areas like marinas, roads, buses and metro systems and much more.

Amravati

China also developed and retrofitted it's mega-cities and amplified older towns to mega cities. Same with the New World S. America like Brazil, Canada, OZ. US etc. and of course EU area.

Is Amravati a Smart City? I look forward to India's 100 Smart City project and it's nice that Singapore, a near Smart City already, is involved. Amravati's gonna rock more then the other new age city of India - Chandigarh.

Only that competition from rapidly developing Chennai, Banglore, Hyderabad, Pune and other towns in the South re: stabilising populations. In the poor past, any small improvement in public infra. was promptly swamped and swallowed by the ever growing population.

India's 'on-line/real-time' internet exposed infra. push is changing the very idea of India.

Note: Every time I see national, patriotic, capital; for all I know this is a good real-estate deal. Singapore's participation kind of nails it down.

Technically speaking, with the 1-2-3 of
  • RERA-GST-Fadnavis/Gadkari
Mumbai will be witness to mega tower launches this 2017 year.

With black money out re: demonitisation and with the real-estate agents stuck with 'black' homes, the system stalled and the above 1-2-3 combo flushed the system of crooks.

Now, Bombay is India's richest all white economy on top of everything else.
New age IT, Pharma, media (Bollywood) plus old money shipping, textiles, real-estate, oil-&-gas, HR exports/Gulf remittances, airlines, railways, refining, manufacturing and steel based stuff like oil rigs and steel pipes along with Global and local banking and finance; all looking to channel into the world's hottest economy. End user driven real-estate Vs. 'black' property dealer driven speculative market will change Bombay real estate market for Bombay's last and largest boom.

Prices have already settled to end-user and buyer price ranges. Now the action starts.

Tata Motors TAMO RACEMO Unveiling
- Bawaji Makes A Car :) !
(c) youtube obviously

Pak. Faujj moves on Land Rover Defenders and Toyota Hilux's.

Since all out war is a near impossibility, Pak. Faujj may want to save a ton of money by switching to tried-&-tested Indian military vehicles, the cheapest hardware anywhere in the world.
  • Seriously, the Indian made Suzuki Gypsy King is the world's 'cheapest-&-best' vehicle.
Next maybe Mahindra's iconic Jeep Willy's style Thar at almost the same price as above.
Tata and Force make Mercedes style Sumo's and Gurkha for same price as above, Tata has a Hilux beater in it's Tata Xenon, again same price point. Average prices are 1/2 what Pak Faujj pays for Hilux's; and Land Rover Defender's price I don't even want to talk about.
Of course pride and ego are real issues.

Mumbai Metro | Bombay | MH

At present, the city has a 12km Metro line (VersovaAndheri-Ghatkopar), which opened in June 2014, and work is in progress on three routes: Colaba-BandraSeepz (Metro 3); AndheriDahisar (Metro 7); and Dahisar-DN Nagar (Metro 2A).The government has set a deadline of 2019 for Metro 2A and Metro 7. The first phase of Metro 3 is likely to be commissioned by 2021.

The commissioning of just Metro 3 will help in the reduction of 6.6 lakh vehicle trips a day. Experts say it would help decrease 6,00010,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions per year, besides bringing about an equal amount of reduction of particulate matter, hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxide. An expert said this will be the equivalent of planting 2.54.5 lakh full-grown trees across Mumbai every year.
