India Developing, but still a long way to go

. .
India's Solar energy evolution makes news for consistently blowing the bottom out of the market. India, is probably the most unique solar market in the world because of it's marginalised, subsistence level, 3-5 acre micro farms opening up to solar farming along with some of the world's mega solar farms.

Specifically, said Indian farms lack basic groundwater which needs to be pumped with a motor. This is at cost to the farmer, plus recurring costs of diesel; both are a cash drain on cash light subsistence farmers. Said farm eco-systems run on barter economies, and net cash outgo is simply a net drain shifting money from rural-to-urban hands. Result : poverty leading to lack of money for diesel (with a Global supply chain from the Gulf all the way to the small farmers diesel pump), therefore lack of water leading to poor crops. Therefore, migration or 'export' of the able bodied to the metro areas is the biggest 'crop' and this is the root cause of over-population in the agri-intensive rural areas.

Cheap solar pumps are just the fix. It makes enough power to run a small water pump. Excess power is sold back to the grid with govt. empowerment. The small Rs. 100-200 week-to-monthly earnings from the sale of power is a MAJOR incentive to go with solar power in the said farms as home-grown power is not only free but complimented with income and independence.

Pakistan may need a different, Western style model for landowners (large land holdings are the norm with no shortage of arid, excess land for Solar farming use).

@Mr.Nair stop tagging random Pakistani members. What are you trying to prove ??

Yes, please. It's unimaginably daft when you tag people in your posts. Those who want to check out what you're posting, will do so on their own accord. Please stop this immature behaviour, @Mr.Nair

P.S what you share here is appreciated by us all.

Fabulous!

Noida-Gr. Noida area is under new mgmt. re: new govt. in UP and demonetization.

Classic example of old school Indian mgmt. First, start-up political caucus, then speculation and land grab, patronage based real-estate and industrial development and now clean-up re: Globalization.

Unlike Gurgaon, this is all local. Expect Gurgaon style x10 mega foreign investment to shore up in the region since India's growth trajectory is established fact and this region is probably the world's hottest investment destination given local and national ambient conditions. Now that locals have built a solid foundation by hook or crook, Noida-Gr. Noida is the future of UP, India and maybe the world. No joke, the only thing that may even come close is a future Hyderabad, Lahore-Amritsar, Toronto, NY, Sao Paolo (all less then appro NCR) suburban mega agglomeration Vs. this New-Delhi NCR agglomeration!
