Massive urban constructions and pro-capitalist shopping plazas are never a measure of success and development. Trust me, I have seen all this stuff in Islamabad and Lahore, sometimes even in a better form, but never felt any emotionally driven proud. The real parameters to measure development and national welfare is to see poor and rich, both, having same opportunities of justice, health and education.

That's communist way of thinking and by the way construction of malls,buildings are done by labours and where they are get earnings,of course from job of construction and not like they become jobless.When a mall is constructed there are a lot people also get the job like sales man,cashier,security and they are also common man in this country and not rich.Your way of thinking is like giving freebies to poor from development program and feed every month so that they become lazy,no need to go job etc.

Its amazing how you extracted so much information about me from two sentences. I neither admire communism nor I am against construction of shopping malls, Infact I was merely questioning the pride in watching taller building when 40% of your pollution lives below poverty lines and majority of it is even unable to get access to a hygienic sanitary. BTW, no more debates on the topic and good luck with these developments.
