This should be the standard for ALL Indian railway stations.

--------------------------------------------

Seawoods station in Navi Mumbai (?) for the Mumbai Suburban rail network:

Actually most of Railway stations look that way initially in India(@ Katra) but the sheer population pressure in India is so much that over time it wears off and looks dirty. I think we have to give credit to India where it is due, we compare ourselves with European standards but one reason they are so clean is that they have lesser population and this plays a big factor in upkeep of their infra.
Not to say that India doesn't need improvements. We need a LOT of them to keep up the infra in proportion to the population.

.
BY your argument the New york Central station should look like Chennai Central or the New Delhi Central .......instead it looks like a five star hotel lobby ..

Western and Eastern DFC Updates:

Renwal
(District- Jaipur) is a densely populated area and comes under the route of Western DFC. In order to minimize displacement due to the construction of lines, DFC went for alternative ways and decided to build 1.1 km. long Viaduct which requires minimum land for foundation of its pillars. This is part of Rewari-Iqbalgarh section of Western DFC.

:
The Bhabua Rail Over Bridge: A piece of engineering excellence by DFC to surmount the track lines challenge at Bhabua in Bihar. DFC added 2 dedicated lines by building a bow string girder and ROB was constructed in association with Bihar State Road Development Corporation. This is part of Durgauti-Sasaram section of Eastern DFC.

LONGEST BRIDGE ON EASTERN DFC: Construction of the longest bridge on Eastern DFC is on full swing. The 3.1 km long Sone Bridge is being built across River Sone between Sonnagar and Delhri-on-Sone stations. This is an important part of 126 km. long Mughalsarai-Sonnagar section of Eastern DFC.
