It was neat in it's time, like the RO-RO trucks on Konkan Train. pic. below. I wonder why they didn't bring in this RO-RO service across India, one imagines fuel saving, time and wear-n-tear savings, great demand, good for the environment, even driver fatigue etc.

Chennai

India's largest hotel (till date) and one of the largest in the world to be LEED-platinum certified opened up last week on September 15th .It has close to 700 rooms and 100 service apartments; 1 million sqft of built up space and apparently 100 percent run on renewable energy. A helipad was to come up on this hotel.Unfortunately ,it did not gain approval from the CMDA (Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority) as it was close to the Airport.
